Great place to stay. Lovely family who runs it. The room was nice, very clean. Delicious breakfasts every day, we especially loved to eat in the garden :) Daniela was always very helpful. She kindly explained to us step by step how to get to Rome by the public transport.

After driving from southern Italy we had an early flight out of Fumicino and booked this place for convenience. It’s a beautiful family house in a quiet residential area of Ostia. Gabriella was very welcoming and accommodating. She spoke very good English. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was sparkling clean. We even had a tea kettle in our room. The breakfast was wonderful. We visited Ostia Antica – one of the largest archeological parks in Italy. What an amazing place! Ostia is well worth a visit just to stroll the streets of Ostia Antica, but there is also Lido with its seafood restaurant and beautiful beach.

We arrived in the evening and the owner Daniela arranged some taxi to pick us up from the airport. When we got to the house we were place in a very nice apt. in the back of the house, Very clean, very private and in the morning we went to the main house for breakfast, she offered us everything. We had a really nice time, Daniela and the taxi driver both suggested to visit Ostia Antica. We did and was just beautiful I will say that maybe nicer than Pompei. Something that I should mention is that we didn't have a car and we were planning to take the bus but we didn't know that by the time we left the house a surprise bus strike took place and will last till 5 o'clock in the afternoon. When we were on the bus stop waiting for 20 min. Daniela the owner of the house came on her car to pick us up and taking us to Ostia Antica. Very nice gesture. Thank you Daniela.

We spent nearly 3 hours driving round trying to find the property. We were requested to phone the owner with an arrival time and made a number of attempts as well as sending a text asking for help finding the place but there was no response despite it being a mobile number we were ringing. We were shocked at the location when we did eventually arrive as the approach was down a pot holed back street with overflowing huge dumpster bins and barking dogs. This is where cars are left as they do not have on site parking. There was a note on the gate advising that the owners were out but the key was next door. Not much of a welcome! The room was small and extremely basic. There were 2 Ikea folding plastic chairs and small Ikea kitchen table to use as a dressing table. The bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable. The bathroom however was a pleasant surprise - very modern and spotlessly clean. The towels were tiny and very rough as they were so thin. Thankfully we were only there one night. There was a continental breakfast included but the food was very basic and poor quality. On the plus side it is a very easy journey to the airport.
