Fulvia was lovely. She had Italian coffee ready every morning and helped us plan our day over breakfast. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The room was big and very clean. It's very easy to find from the train station and in prime location. It was in a quiet area with lovely local restaurants. We would defiantly stay here again...

Fulvia was the most amazing host I could ever wish for, start to finish. The B&B was so lovely, the location was so central for transport links. I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect base after a busy day. Fulvia was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything there is to do in Rome. Everything about Casa...

When looking over reviews for this property you will notice how many return visitors there are to this lovely B and B - and there is a reason (or many) for this. .... ( my husband and are are certainly among that number) .... SPOTLESSLY clean, amazingly convenient, welcomed by the warm, friendly and boundlessly efficient Fulvia whose knowledge of...

We keep coming back here when visiting Rome. Excellent location, attentive host, and reasonable price all make up this cozy B&B. Rooms are modern and very clean. Fulvia could not be more helpful and her knowledge of Rome is second to none. Breakfast provided is basic but more than enough to fill your energy wondering around this wonderful city. Its...

You cannot do better than Casa Romana. We stayed 4 nights and left knowing that our next hotel, though much bigger, could not possibly measure up. Fulvia has managed a larger hotel in the past and now applies all the know how to this intimate setting. Her guests benefit from that experience and, most of all, her genuine desire to...

We just returned from staying with Fulvia at Casa Romana. She is a wonderful host who made our sightseeing even better with her daily recommendations. Her knowledge of the many treasures found in Rome was wonderful and allowed us to make adjustments to our schedule to see so much more than we expected. The apartment is modern and clean and...

Stayed here for two nights. Bargain price for a Fantastic location right next to termini station and easy walk to city centre. Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. The host Fulvia was an excellent resource for exploring outside the normal tourist spots. Would definitely stay here next trip to Rome.

We (two couples) just returned from Italy and spent 5 wonderful days in Rome at Casa Romana. As others have said, it is located two blocks from Termini which makes it very convenient to get anywhere via metro as well as from the airport or on to Florence. Fulvia was so attentive and helpful. Each morning she had breakfast waiting...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
