I have stopped at this apartment a couple of times now and it is just perfect for someone that wants a base close to the metro and Vatican and happy to eat out or cook for themselves. The host makes it, really interested in you and how he can help. Keep forgetting to write a review when I stop, but... More

Visiting Rome for the Jubilee and found this cozy place to stay near the train and 10m from the Vatican/St Peters. Gianfranco is a wonderful host - will tell you all about what to see in Rome and how to get there. The rooms are clean and comfortable, free wi-fi and there is plenty of coffee and breakfast food for... More

We stayed here when we went to Rome a couple of years ago. There was no question where we would stay as we now book our return visit. The B&B is clean and comfortable and the proximity to the metro make the location ideal. But the main reason for our return is the host, Gianfranco. He bends over backwards to... More

Gianfranco is a gem. Before we arrived I emailed him to confirm our arrival time and how we planned to get to the B&B, and he alerted us that the nearest Metro station would be closed by the time we got to Rome due to engineering works, despite what the official web site said, and booked a cab for us... The B&B is very well located from bus and metro. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet place, Closed by walk to the Vatican Museums. But most important, Gianfranco is a wonderful host, with good conservation and laughter and caring for his guests, and I got to practice Italian! after we arrived a day later because we missed our connection,... I cannot recommend or praise Gianfranco and his BnB enough. Even before my mom and I arrived he stayed in contact with us and gave us great directions to the BnB. He was there to greet us and gave us maps and tips for traveling around Rome. We felt so at home here. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated.... More
