I will start with the bad things: 1. The smell in the room was horrible. It smelled like sewage from the bathroom and we had to stay with the windows opened all the time. What disgusted ne was the mould on the shower and on the air conditioner. 2. Check in is at 1 o'clock, which is a little bit... More

Have just returned from visiting Rome and staying in the Cesar Palace Guesthouse. Travel on foot from the Roma Termini train station was easy and not too far at all, and if you somehow manage to get lost there is the very large and interesting looking British Embassy on route where the guards out front will happily help direct you.... I'm not a person who wants to spend a ton of money on a hotel when I'm traveling due to the fact that I will be sleeping and showering there. This hotel was everything I needed when I traveled to Rome. The people who checked us in were so nice and accommodating we decided to book a couple more nights.... More

it's clean and safe.. friendly welcoming staff, if you're staying for a few nights like i did then perfect place. it's an old fashioned apartment turned into a guest house. was pretty cool for me.. comfy beds and pillows also. bus stop right outside the guesthouse.. shops and restaurants also near by, which was very convenient..

We were allocated this hotel by The Tourcentre, for a three night stay in Rome. I did not want to stay for three minutes let alone three nights, I did not take my coat off. The reception was on the fifth floor, which was basic to say the least. The receptionist was very helpful. We were allocated a room on... More

First of all look at how many reviews all reviewers have before you consider their opinion....all the nice reviews and pictures are far away from truth...The place is difficult to find as there is just 20x20cm guesthouse sign on a side of the main door. We stayed in room 505. Mouldy fridge, holes in bedsheet, double bed is not double-it's... More

Dear Sirs Luckily there is freedom of Speech, unfairly some people use it in unproper manner. I agree with you the sign is not so big in the building but since in Italy we give great importance to art and architecture its not allowed in historical buidlings to have great signs. For what concerns the fridge, it has been provided... More

Great friendly service and great suggestion on where to visit and a nice explained plan with map with the top places to eat for evening meals and where to go for the greatest views. Ben the manager is also very helpful. Locatated right by local transport so getting around is great

Let's be clear, this place is not a hotel and doesn't claim to be. The rooms are perfectly good, the services are all working and the staff are really friendly. We used the Metro a lot to get around and all the sites are about 30 mins away. Would definitely come back and stay here again.
