Frank's House is a wonderful B&B with welcoming and helpful hosts. The rooms are clean and big. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spotless! Stay here if you're in Rome! Also, ask Frank for some recommendations for where to eat and what to see. :)

Location I'd say it is walking distance from the central station. Arriving from airport to central station, the google map that I printed in advance helped me to go the right direction. The location is quiet and close to metro station that takes you every where. It was very convenient because all places I wanted to go were within reach...

There is a reason that Frank's House ranks in the top 10% of all BBs in Rome. And it delivers! My husband and I spent 6 nights in Rome at Frank's, and couldn't have been happier. The decor is beautiful, and the accomodations are classy. The beds and pillows are of high quality, and the rooms are decorated with beautiful accessories....

I had the pleasure of staying at Frank's house last month and I must say it was wonderful!!! After a long morning of planes, trains, and automobiles I was so relieved to arrive and relax in a room that felt like home. It was very clean and decorated down to the smallest details. Those small touches can make a huge...

Great location, great price and Farank is a friendly person.... always available to help , but not in your face. Booked nice restaurant for us , explained the map and transport system and made very helpful suggestions. Very close to piazza and also three metros. My girlfriend and I had been traveling throughout Europe recently and Rome was our last stop on our journey. I was referred to Frank's House B&B by a friend and it was hands down our favorite place we stayed throughout our European vacation. We were cordially greeted by Frank when we arrived. I found Frank's place through cross pollinate a website I found within Rick Steves guidebook. I couldn't be more pleased staying here. It was clean, quiet and Frank was really helpful! He recommended restaurants to visit and was willing to call and make reservations or help in any way. You're only a few blocks from a train stop and not...

Frank's place was comfortable, clean and we loved that it reminded us of our own place... except it was in Rome! It was the perfect place to stay after a long flight from Bangkok. We were also pleasantly surprised with its accessibility to another metro station Vittorio Emmanuel (in addition to the central station they call Termini) and its multicultural...

We visited Roma on the weekend of the marathon, where almost all accommodation was booked out. I based my decision on TripAdvisor reviews and I have to say it was well worth it. The hospitality is excellent and Frank will provide you with a local map and point out the sights as well as some great places for coffee and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
