The hotel is excellent, the location is great. The service is extraordinary and stands out of every other hotel we've been in Rome. I would like to compliment Mr. GIUSEPPE, who takes care of everything, a professionalist, and a very kind and polite man. This is our second visit in this hotel and we will be definetly return more on our future trips to Rome. We recommend this hotel!
We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon in October. This was our first time to Rome and Mario de' Fiori 37 made it great. The room was very modern and clean. The bathroom was very spacious, with both a shower and a large tub. The location was very close to the Spanish Steps - which aren't all that impressive, but the rest of the area is very nice, although mostly tourist-focused, and high end shopping. It is close to a metro station which was great for getting around the city quite easily. We were able to walk or take a train to most destinations within the main part of Rome, including Vatican City. The staff was wonderful, and provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Giuseppe stood out as especially friendly and helpful - even though our Italian is minimal to non-existent, he was kind and patient and made sure we got the info we needed. The only thing missing from this place is a bar or restaurant, although we knew that when booking. Highly recommend staying here. Grazie Giuseppe! Ciao!…
Giuseppe, the manager, was very responsive to all my questions about Rome before we even arrived. He even made restaurant reservations for each of our evenings. He also offered to arrange transportation to the airport, but we already had that covered. There is no restaurant at this small boutique hotel, but they are happy to serve you coffee and a pastry in your room for no extra charge. The location is just steps away from the Spanish Steps on a side street with some great restaurants nearby. The rooms are small since this is Rome, but very nicely appointed. Even with the elevator, there are a couple of steps to the rooms and might be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again!
This is a great boutique hotel near the Spanish steps and within walking distance of all the main places to visit in Rome. The hotel room was excellent clean and quite. The hotel staff were great especially Guisppe who gave great advice and recommendations for restaurants and bars would definitely recommend a stay here
We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Mario de' Fiori 37. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet, and unusual for hotels in Italy, had a big, comfortable king-sized bed. We interacted with Marika at the front desk more than anyone - she was very charming and polite, friendly, helpful with information, advice, and calling for taxis. The hotel is a block from the Spanish Steps and surrounded by restaurants and shopping galore - you just can't beat the location. One tip: Notice that the hotel is named after the street address - Mario de' Fiore 37 - but the full address is Mario de' Fiore 37B. Our taxi from the cruise port dropped us off at 37, which is the Condotti Hotel, but no problem, 37B is just two doors to the right.
