Anthony has a great B&B in Rome very close to the Termini, even closer to the metro and a grocery store practically on the other side of the block. We stayed in the Annex. Anthony is very friendly and provided us with a very helpful map of Rome which basically had a recommended itinerary which is very useful. His staff...

Although it is very close to almost everything, it's very quiet and cozy. The staff were very cordial and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast every morning. The owner went out if his way to make us feel welcome. I have stayed there on 2 visits to Rome and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. It's very close to...

Spent 5 days here, rooms very clean, bed very firm and the neighborhood quite. Staff on most mornings were good but I did strike one who was more interested in talking to her friends and having a cigarette to provide any form of breakfast service (i.e. Just a cup of coffee).

Great b&b very relaxing. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to access everything. Located 10 mins walk from Rome station and also the hop on hop off buses. Breakfast was lovely, sweet and savoury. Room very spacious with an ensuite or you could have a shared bathroom. Rooms made up everyday. Air conditioned for comfort. Lovely family...

The little hotel is set in a quiet, residential area, surrounded by tall, old buildings that remain silent during the night, because they are mainly meant for business only or tourism. The triple rom is very big, with tall French windows that overlook the lovely quiet street and with a mural painting of the Vatican that calms you down after...

Wow, this place was a wonderful surprise. We had 16 people; 8 in Viallafranco 2 and 8 in via palestro 56. The apartments were great -- roomy, clean, ac, kitchen. And 3 bathrooms in each apartment was, well, quite convenient to say the least. Our group at meals together in one place and there were enough plates and cups and...

Located walking distance from Termini Station for easy access to public transport, but if you like walking around new cities like we do this is the perfect location. Walking distance to most of Rome's beautiful sights and monuments like the Forum, The Colosseum, The Pantheon and Fontana Di Trevi. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms have excellent...

We were a family of 8, 6 children ranging in age from 7-18. Easy walk to Termini Station to catch the metro to any point in the city. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. Three bathrooms was very nice with so many children. Small grocery store within a block. On quiet side street with...

Anthony was very helpful as noted in other posts. The annex does not include the breakfast "B" in "B&B" but it was spacious and clean. Also, very low ceilings, particularly in the bathrooms!!! My family is tall, so visits to the WC were sometimes challenging. The biggest perk is the washing machine in the annex. Saved us later holiday expenses...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
