Delightfully chic apartment tucked away on ideallic street. The room was immaculate with all modern amenities. The personalized journal hit all the" highlights" and made our tour of Rome extra special. We especially enjoyed every bit of attention down to the chocolate croissants waiting for us at the breakfast buffet! Can't wait to return to Margutta 54!

We spent three nights here on our visit to Rome. The place is located quite centrally but still cut off from the noise and clutter. Easy access to via del corso (shopping) and other tourist sites like Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. The room was an amazing size and very neat and clean. Also very practically made to suit all... The best location in Rome. Central to everything. Great service, great facilities just perfect. In the prettiest street in Rome. Close to the best restaurants, a stones throw from the Spanish steps, the best shopping precinct and cafe's galore. A perfect base for a great holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Margutta 54, it was exactly what we were looking for. Spending a few days seeing the sites of Rome, we wanted somewhere comfortable and quiet to unwind after a long (and hot) day's site-seeing. Tucked away in a private courtyard off a picturesque cobbled street, it was very peaceful at night. Our suite was... More

We have just returned from our trip overseas and a definite highlight was our stay at Margutta 54 in Rome. Wonderfully spacious, well appointed rooms, excellent service and prime location, literally minutes from the Spanish Steps. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definitely re book for our next stay in Rome.

Located in a private cul-de-sac in Spagna minutes walk from all the hustle and bustle of Via de Corso and the Spanish steps is a quiet oasis thats full of charm and character. The local area is dotted with galleries and lovely shops and seems a world away from the noise that awaits only moments away. After several visits to... More

Pricy but worth is. We have been to all three of the chain: Mario dei fiori, Babuino 181, and Margutta 54, and all are great but Margutta 54 is the best (in all cases, this depends on the room you get).

Fantastic location just away from the hustle and noise. Large, spacious and open. Beds were comfortable, ac worked very well as did the wifi. Kitchen was great. Front patio with table and chairs was quiet and provides even more space. Nassar was helpful and answered any texts intermediately. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Picasso, Puccini and Stravinsky all made Via Margutta their home. Now, you, too, can draw inspiration from Margutta 54, a unique boutique hotel on Rome's most beautiful, atmospheric street, located a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps. To stay at our collection of converted artist's studios, you have to be as "in the know" as a true Roman. So step off of Via Margutta into a private courtyard-a hidden secret on the gallery-lined street. Walk through the gates into a historic palace setting. And know that here, in the shadow of Picasso's studio, you're home. At Margutta 54, rather than a hotel client, you feel like you are living as an authentic Roman. Make yourself comfortable: enjoy the peace of the private courtyard. Indulge in the exclusivity of residing in an historic artist studio. ... more   less
