When we first pulled up we thought we were at the wrong place. The outside is a little run down and could do with an update. However, once inside the hotel is very small and quaint with only 5 rooms. The rooms are very unique with a very Italian feel to them but still very basic. The hotel rooms were... More

Entering the ground level you are buzzed through a locked entry and inside gate to a dimly lit circa 1500 courtyard, don't let this scare or fool you. A short walk to a winding staircase brings you to the hotel entrance on the second level. There is a small elevator to help with luggage. Upon entry you are greeted by... More

Baghirova is located in the perfect location for sightseeing - minutes from the Pantheon, a 30 minutes stroll to the Vatican and just 15 minutes to the Forum. The Colosseum is a further 7 minutes. Too easy!! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The building is superb - possibly an old convent? The room is very large and elegant. The... More

I literally just got back from staying here. It was my first trip to Rome and after booking this place fairly last minute, I didn't think it would be a decent place to stay.....how wrong was I! The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk to the pantheon, 2 minute walk to piazza navona, so you have all the restaurants... More

Hidden off the street in a quiet location, Baghirova makes a nice base for an exploration of Rome. We usually stay in hotels; however, there are no luxury hotels (except perhaps the Rafael run by Relais & Chateau) in the area, and we were looking for something in the historical center that would be convenient to the Vatican, Trastavere, Colosseo,... This small B&B is perfectly located between Piazza Navonna, Pantheon and Campo di Fiori is a little gem. The B&B is located in an old palazzo with all moderne facilities. There is no reception - most of the time - and no breakfast restaurant, but never the less, they serve a good Italian breakfast in your room.

The bottom line is that my wife and I would return in a heart beat. Some of the many excellent features of this hotel/B&B/inn include: 1.Layla (sp.?), the manager/owner, is incredibly pleasant and accommodating and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable; 2. the place is small (5 rooms, I believe), quiet/peaceful, and clean inside; 3. while... What a find! Excellent location, minutes from the Pantheon. The room was spotless, the bed so comfortable and location quiet. Breakfast in the room every morning is also a treat. Had an amazing stay in Rome.

What a wonderful place. The Baghirova in Rome is perfectly situated just a few minutes walk from the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. The rooms have been renovated and are full of character. We stayed in room 2 which was huge with a beautiful double height wooden ceiling. There's some minimal noise from the road but not enough...
