I can't understand why people complain about this hotel. The hotel is just beautiful!! A bit more expensive but worth every penny! We went as my friend got married that morning, the staff at reception were very friendly I had rose petals and just married signs and they arranged them beautifully in there room. Our bedroom was on the same...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in Rome on pleasure. Firstly the hotel is only 15 minutes walking distance from the main railway station which is ideal so you do not need a taxi. Note though that google maps does not locate the hotel properly, it is further up the street away from the tourist areas. On entry...

Dear Guest, We are very sorry to receive your complaint about your stay in our Hotel, I have been informed, being the Manager, of the inconvenience occurred during your stay in the House, however, the receptionist at the front-desk, tried hard to satisfy your request, at your arrival, changing your room, but unfortunately, what he had at disposition, in that...

We spent 3 nights at the Leon’s Place and I can tell you, after researching and researching for hotels in Rome, and there are thousands and thousands of them, I was very happy with my choice. I read some of the other reviews here in TripAdvisor and I can’t really come up to agree with most of the bad ones....

We have just had three days here and loved every minute. The hotel decor is completely over the top but just fabulous. Our room on the second floor overlooked the road and the hustle and bustle outside just added to the overall great feeling. (Close the window and you could barely hear it). The staff from the maids to the...

The hotel is well located about ten minutes walk from a metro station, but far enough from the chaos, although the street noise can be a noise eventually. The hotel decor is quite nice and modern. The room was spacious for European-standard and super clean. There was a nice size chaise there, which was a plus. The mattress is super...

This hotel has an air of luxury which it doesnt quite live up to. The lobby is all crystal and mirrors, but the room was extremely small and toiletries were rather basic. The hotel is located a 10 min walk form the train station and the city center, theres no street noise at all, and plenty of nice restaurants in...

Me and my girlfriend chose this hotel after thoroughly looking for a place to stay for 2 weeks and looking at Tripadvisor reviews. To Sum Up the Hotel: Fantastic, clean, compact, modern, luxurious/boutique looking & well presented, staff are amazing, spa and breakfast included which is an added bonus. Breakfast had plenty of selection. Couldn't grumble. Staff: I'd like to...

Hotel rooms are great. Slightly poor on the mini bar front and a bit weird with complimentary toiletries. Body lotion, shampoo and then bath foam....One problem the building team forgot to put the bath in....well I couldn't find it anywhere!!! Bar is cool and bar man is very generous with the crisps and salsa. Slightly out the way. However based...

The Italian hotel rating system seems to throw up a few surprises, so that visitors from overseas can be surprised to discover that what is billed as a 4 star hotel can actually feel like a 3 or even 2 star establishment in another country. So it was a great relief to discover that our hotel in Rome was really...

Great hotel, only thing that let it down was the lack of AC in our room and as the window opened onto the fire escape we had a couple of bad night's sleep. One odd thing was the room was covered in mirrors - a few of which were scuffed which ruined the effect. The staff were great and the...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
