We had a HORRIBLE experience at this OVERPRICED hotel. When we arrived we realized that the AIR CONDITIONER WAS BROKEN. We complained but they said we should just open the windows and ignore the heat and the noisy street. (!!!) We decided to stay because we had no option but we didn't know that we would spend THE WHOLE NIGHT... More

The owner is so nice it's hard to say the truth, however these things must be corrected. The shower was slippery, the toiletries were not replenished and NOONE is there after 5 p.m. and NO telephone!!! If you misplace your keys or have needs there is no way to get assistance!!! When we arrived we were mislead as the photos... More

WE tried this little hotel or more like a private B&B last week and found the service to be very friendly and the rooms good. There is no bar or restaurant or central lobby it just has several rooms in a large apartment building The lift is from the 50's and is a classic The owners seem to be very... More

If you want VIP treatment, go to Rome 55. It is virtually on the Spanish steps, the center of Rome. The owners are their all day only meters away from the rooms, wanting to help their guests. We will certainly be going back again.

The rooms in this hotel were clean ( but a bit small for me) and the staff were kind , the location is perfect because it's near to Spanish steps and maybe that's why I personally enjoyed my stay because there are great Italian restaurants and designer boutiques around you. But the service could be better than that. It's bed... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute! The rooms were larger, modern, romantic and equipped. The location is perfect, right next to the Spanish steps and high end boutiques. We were welcomed by what felt like a little Italian family with long lost cousins arriving. Don't look any further, the perfect accommodation for your Rome stay.

A small boutique hotel in a fabulous location right near the Spanish Steps. The room size was adequate (not too small), the bathroom amenities were beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Although only on the second floor, we were not disturbed by any street noise. There is a small lift, so there is no need to lug suitcases up... More

This 4 room boutique hotel has clean, modern rooms and bathrooms. Its less than 1/2 block from the Spanish Steps and luxury shopping. You're surrounded by a great selection of restaurants and stores and are 15-20 minutes from many Roman sites. The owner Natasha is very informative and helpful. If you'd like to save a little money on accomodations so... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
