We love staying close to Piazza Del Popolo so we picked this place. The staff were very friendly and let us leave our bags at the hotel because we got in early. Any questions you have they are more than helpful with. The walls are kind of thin enough to hear one woman yelling at her husband for awhile, wasn't...

My first time in Rome and we decided to stay in this apartment. What a great place!!! And not expensive! Very spacious with lots of closets. Great for families. Especially since it has a kitchen and fridge. Paola was fantastic, and quite the character. Loved it!

We stayed at Perla (2 bedroom appt), it was perfect for our family of 4. The appartment was very clean, well maintained and spacious. The building location is perfect, very close to Spanish Steps and Borghese garden. Leonardo, the owner, was constantly in touch, met us upon arrival and made sure we were comfortable. He also arranged excellent airport transfer...

We (2 adults + 3 young kids) stayed at the Turchese apartment for 3 nights. The apartment is very well organized, clean, well maintained and fully equipped and stocked. It is not big, but it is well planned and furnished, so there was space for everything. The hosts were very helpful, from the welcoming email down to accommodating our requests...

We (a family of 5) stayed in this central apartment for 5 days. The host was very friendly and helpfull. The location is nice, close to piazza Popolo, about midway between Colosseum and Vatican. So an easy walk to most of the classic tourist attractions. There is a COOP supermarket close by, and a smaller shop right across the street...

We were not sure what to expect, since we always stayed at the hotels by the America Embassy off the Via Veneto. The Ripetta was a good place. The rooms were large and comfortable, a little old, but comfortable. The thing I like the best was the staff; very helpful and friendly.

we spent one week in Rome for a family vacation. Ripetta 25 was conveniently located. we were able to walk around at our leisure and go back up to our room to rest when tired. Via Condotti was on the next street and Piazza del Popolo was at the corner. we were able to buy steaks at a butcher shop...

We really liked this accomodation. We loved the location and the friendly welcome we received from the host. We loved the welcome fruit and drinks. The rooms are lovely, really nicely set out and well organised for families to self cater which we did. We did have a couple of issues. The walls here, like in much Italian accomodation are...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
