We booked this place and let the staff know our arrival was at about 5 pm. We arrived at 4:50 pm and rang the bell. Nobody was where. We called the number and notified our arrival. A lady said: 15 minutes. We waited. After 15 minutes nothing. We called again. The lady said: 2 minutes. 15 minutes later still nothing....

this is a converted apartment into a 3 room hotel in a residential but urban rome building. it was a perfect arrangement for our group of 6 people. it is about 15' walk to the vatican museums, 20' walk to st. peter square. ample of shops, mini-markets and restaurants around the neighborhood. free good breakfast is served from the bakery...

When we arrived, we didn't expect rooms as nice as these to be in this building. They look like 4*hotelrooms. Very clean, tastefully furnished and decorated and with everything you need, like air-conditioning, hair-dryer, tv and kettle. The wifi also works perfectly. And the icing on the cake is the breakfast you get at an amazing italian bakery/pastry shop next door.

In planning a 5 day trip to Rome, I put a budget of €100 per night for accommodation & breakfast. Priority was somewhere within walking distance of most attractions. Candia Inn, described as B & B got consistently high ratings on TA so decided to book. It is a 3 bedroom apt all with ensuite bathrooms a few streets north...

This wonderful little B&B is just right around the corner from the entrance to the Vatican Museums which is the meeting location for most if not all tours of the Vatican. Our City Wonders tour met at 7:45 am. (Highly recommended, by the way. See my separate review of that tour). My wife and I decided to stay at Candia...

We went for a family city trip to Rome. This B&B could not have been a better choice for us. The rooms are very well equipped and they feel brand new. Having lived several years in Rome in the past, I do not think ou can find a better hotel / B&B breakfast. By the way, location is also perfect...

For the independent traveler that appreciates value (comfortable room, good price, clean bathrooms and good attention) this is a great B&B. With only three rooms, the Candia Inn feels more like a residence, which was just what my family required for our Rome vacation. We had two rooms (family of four with two teenagers). The rooms are good size, the...

I spent 2 nights at the Candia Inn in September 2014. If you're on a budget, want a comfortable, clean and aesthetically pleasing place that's really really close to great sights, shopping and restaurants, then stay here. Matteo the owner was extremely helpful both during my trip planning as well as the actual stay. Don't be put off by the...

Your host, Matteo, fulfil each wish you have. You live close to the Vatican. 2 minutes to the museum, 10 minutes to St. Peter Basilika. 3 minutes to a metro station. To recommend Italian restaurant around.

“if a couple, make sure you ask for the room with the larger bathroom.RECOMMENDATION: Purchase your tickets in advance ONLINE for major attractions (like the Colisseum and Vatican Museums) YOU WILL SKIP THE LONG LINES!!!
