This is also Suite Castrense. Domus Castrense is on the 2nd floor and Suite Castrense is on the 4th floor, same staff. We stayed at the Suite Castrense on the 4th floor for 5 nights during our stay in Rome. I liked everything about this...More
Near Termini station, clean and modern B&B. Italian, but good enough breakfast ( croissants, bread, jam, honey, butter, nutela, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice) delivered to room. Good restaurant Sapori di Casa in next building. I recommend Domus Castrense.
We loved our brief stay at Castrense! Our room was very tiny, but we didn't need much space for our little stay.
I can't stay enough nice things about the helpful staff. So kind upon arrival, and they allowed unto check in early, and leave...More
Location: the hotel is about 7-10 minute walk from Termini Station, which is perfect if you're arriving off the Leonardo Express train from FCO Airport. It's a quiet neighbourhood, which looks like quite a residential part of Rome. We felt very safe walking around this...More

San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San
Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
