Nice and friendly management - got upgraded to a double room, and was also able to check-in early. Fantastic bonus. Room was big, modern and spacious - very clean, with great view of Via Veneto. Very close to Barberini subway station and minutes away from the Spanish Steps - super location. Free wireless internet access too! And it worked well!...

Located in a beautiful part of Rome, a few steps from a metro station and a few minutes walk from La Fontana de Trevi, La Piccola Maison is a brand new (spotless clean) place to stay. The owner is probably the most friendly Italian guy on the planet. He made us feel at home right from the moment we arrived....

Our 5 days in Rome were beautifully complimented by this hotel. Centrally located, close to all major attraction. Small but cozy. Georgio was very helpful and nice.

We are a couple from Russia traveling in Italy from 9 years! We love Rome and want to recommend this place: small and refinated! I'm witing from the room because there's the free wireless connection in all the rooms :-) Usually you have to pay but here is included in the price like the air conditioning. Also sat channels available....

Wonderful location in a very quaint old building, don't bring a big suitcast. Staff were extremely helpful and decor is very modern. The lack of breaky is not a problem with wide selection of cafes nearby, dont forget to do as the Italians do and stand at the counter for your coffee and croissant. Would recommend this hotel just be...

When you go to a town like Rome you usally want to be able to store bags after check-out since you depart later than check-out. This is not possible at this place. We had to go to their sister hotel located 5 minutes from Termini. This hotel is a 2 star hotel and when we stored our bags we did...

Rome was the first stop on our 2 week Italian holiday. This was our first European trip, and we were a bit nervous after our crazy cab ride from the airport. That all disappeared when we got to La Piccola Maison. Giorgia greeted us upon our arrival, and was extremely helpful. She gave us easy to follow directions, a wonderful...

This was just the perfect place to stay for our honeymoon in Rome! Giorgia and Giorgio were so friendly and helpful in getting us settled in, acquainting us with the city's major sites, marking on our maps where to go, affordable places to shop, etc. Most of all, they made fabulous recommendations for restaurants and cafes nearby where mainly locals...

This hotel was just perfect for what we were after. We stayed for three nights so knew we would barely be using it especially since it was our first time in Rome with there being so much to see so we didn't want to spend a fortune. It was such good value and the room was more than adequate. The...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
