This hotel-apt was what we were looking for. Newly renovated, clean, central. Located near Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps, most of the sites are at walking distance. Metro is right next door, you can get to any sites from here within minutes. Yes the room are not huge and bathroom are small, but in Rome, you just want a good...

We stayed in room 2 at the Maison Trevi when there was no room at the main hotel. No sense in going back over everything that has been said elsewhere : great location, the luxury of newly renovated contempory rooms, just an all around great value for your money. What I will mention, at the risk of increasing the demanding...

I was there last week with my wife and another couple. It was an excelent staying. The rooms are very cosy and clean and despite a little noise coming from the street (it's normal due to the excelent location, very central) they are an excelent choice. All the personal was superb and allways available if needed. It's 5 minutes walking...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Made us feel welcome. Arranged for a taxi ride for us to and from the airport at a reasonable price. Let us leave our luggage at the hotel after we checked out so that we could spend the extra day in vatican city. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good location. Close to the...

My husband and I stayed at the Maison Trevi on our first trip to Rome. It was the perfect accomodation for us. The location can't be beaten and the rooms are very modern, clean and stylish. Giorgio is extremely helpful and booked a local restaurant for our first night. This meant we started to enjoy the trip from the moment...

I stayed at La Piccola Maison during the European summer of 2010. I’d never been to Rome before and needed a twin room to share with a friend. From the beginning I was impressed with the assistance I received from Giorgio via email when he took our booking. My friend and I were delighted with the room when we arrived....

The staff were friendly and helpful. On arrival the gentleman carried my bags up the stairs. We had all well known locations pointed out on a map. Taxi's call for us. Fantastic! The room was large, modern and very clean. King Bed, very comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower, with the only downside that the shower head sprayed every...

I stayed at La Piccola Maison for my last night in Italy after a long trip around the country with my friend, who flew home a week earlier than me. La Piccola Maison is on one floor of an apartment building, up several flights of stairs - it is NOT a hotel, so do not expect 24/7 reception (although the...

We stayed at the Maison Trevi (though origianally having booked in La Piccola Maison) for 4 nights in May. The inn is very clean and modern and the location is excellent, near the Trevi fountain and the Piazza di Spagna. Within walking distance to all Roman monuments and Piazzas. Giorgio and Giorgia are very friendly and kind too. Would definitely...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
