I just adored the place, splendid location and best price. The owners are kind and helpful, even though there is a slight language barrier. The couple are sweet and nice, if a bit comical with the language barrier. They are like distant relatives who want help you get around town. The Colosseum is a little bit of a walk away,... More

Super clean and comfortable rooms. The hosts were super helpful and very nice. Would definitely stay here again as its far enough away from the verycrowded places but only a 20 minute walk away from the major sights of ancient Rome. Thank you again.

Nice location, clean room, very comfortable beds, amazing breakfast, very kind hosts. Everything you dream of on your first Rome trip. I would highly recommend staying here. My electric converter didn't work so I asked the host where I can purchase them, and she let me borrow her own, so I could charge my electric devices my entire trip. This... More

I can only say good things about this place. Mario picked us up from the airport and also drove us back very early in the morning when we had to leave for our flight! Magdalena and Mario were amazing and breakfast was always fresh, our room was big and homely and the bathroom was clean! We had access to free... More

just arrived back from a short break in Rome and our stay at the Stella di Roma was a rather mixed blessing. The hosts Mario and his wife were not there when we arrived and the person who greeted us had no English at all so we had to wait for our hosts to arrive before we could check anything... More

first of all we are sorry that his vacation was not up but it seems fair to point out some points. 1) WE WERE NOT PRESENT IN THE CECK. it is true but we absented only 15 minutes but it seems to me that the room was regularly delivered, then you have waited in vain. 2) Our rooms are spacious,... This was the nicest place I stayed whilst travelling in Europe. Our room had nice decor and a balcony with a good view overlooking the street. Every morning the hosts had a lovely complimentary breakfast waiting for us. The bathroom was always clean and the water was warm. The hosts were really lovely and friendly people. Just a note, they... More

Great location, breakfast always fresh, very clean. The people were so lovely, they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Even brought in a basket of toys for our little boy to play with. Would stay here again, happily.

We stayed in this B&B over a long weekend (Sat-Tuesday) and absolutely loved it. Before arrival we were a bit worried that the place would be quite far from the centre, but the Colosseum was maybe 10min walk away and Vatican and other further away places were easily reachable with the red line of metro. The couple running the place... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Stella di Roma b&b, a couple and our 9 year old daughter. The owners couldn't do enough for us, lovely big room, spotless, clean sheets daily, and the most lovely breakfast. There is a shared bathroom, again spotless. The collaseum is a 10 minute walk as is the metro... More

We stayed here five nights, and on the whole it was a very pleasant and friendly experience. I loved the location -- a little out of the way of the bustle of Rome's center, but not too far away (though you're better off taking buses than trekking with luggage over a kilometer to the metro stops). We were accommodated by... More
