This was our second visit to Rome and our second stay at this hotel. We enjoyed our first stay and we're not disappointed by our second visit. The hotel is well located with all of the main attractions of Rome within walking distance. The main station Roma Termini (terminus for the airport train and other intercity trains) is a 10... More

Was a nice room with a comfortable bed. Staff was amazing they were so friendly and accommodating. Very quiet room even though 1 block from the crowds. Gave us a great directions to local sites. Metro station within 3 block distance. Only negative is Wifi was off as much as it was on. But we found a great restaurant called... More

Modern, clean and well located just off main road. Contrary to a previous review I felt the hotel was very secure and noted CCTV was monitored from 24 hour reception. Staff were very lovely and went above and beyond to assist us. I was very unhappy about moving on to our next location as I felt so comfortable!

Small boutique hotel, located on 2 floors of a regular building. Roma at reception welcomed us and was very helpful and nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is a bit far from local attractions, but if you're looking for quiet this is the place.

This hotel has excellent location. It is just walking distance from Termini train station and is very close to Metro station in Piazza Della Republica, so the public transportation is quite easy to use. The rooms are confortable and so is the bathroom. The rooms have AC and blinds which is very useful in summer. The staff is very helpful... More

First, the good things. The location is great (steps from the Repubblica Metro and a 10-minute walk from Termini), the air conditioning is excellent (especially in August!), and the bathroom shower is bigger than normal for Rome hotels and updated. It also has a 24/7 reception so you can get into your room easily if you fly in late. The... More

The staff and the rooms were amazing! The location is ok. We stayed here just one night at the end of our holiday. Our first stay in rome we stayed in an airbnb in Trastevere, my favourite neighbourhood. In terms of staying in the city centre, this hotel is pretty good. The room was the most modern room we had... We stayed for 3 days and upon check-in the front desk walked us to our room and nicely explained everything. I forgot his name, but I was really impressed with his service. The room and bathroom were very clean and we had housekeeping everyday. What I especially appreciated was the free water refill everyday and the small assortment of teas... More

Positives: - Good location - Clean, nice and spacious rooms - Nice bathroom Negatives: - A bit pricey - We had twin beds, they are simply too narrow (and we were only tiny girls!) and are arched(???), which makes you roll on either side - The street was a bit noisy, it wasn't a good night sleep - The breakfast... I reviewed many hotels extensively before booking our post-cruise Rome trip. I wanted something on a modern tip as I didn't care really for the old school decor that most of the well rated but affordable hotels offered. SuiteDreams fulfilled my desire for a clean hotel in a great location. PROS: *amazing blackout blinds that my husband was fascinated with!... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
