Vatican Julia Luxury Rooms is located on the fifth floor of a building dating back to the 50's, in Vatican City /Prati-Delle Vittorie neighborhood, within walking distance from the Vatican Museums , San Pietro , Castel S. Angelo and the quaint district of Borgo Pio . The A line metro station Ottaviano / Lepanto, 900m from the hotel, takes you to Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Gallery Borghese. Buses 70 and 23 stop just in front of our building and have direct links toPiazza Navona, Largo Argentina, Venice Square, and the Imperial Forum. Tribunals, Rai and LA7 television headquarters are also located in the nearby. If you are a sport enthusiast, the Olympic Stadium and Stadio dei Marmi are only few bus stops away from the hotel. If you are more keen on music, concert halls Auditorium della Conciliazione and Parco della Musica are just a stone's throw away, hosting major concert events, ranging from classical music to jazz, contemporary and pop. The neighborhood is packed with all sorts of facilities and shops: both traditional and stylish restaurants, excellent ice-cream shops, and on top of all that here is one of Rome's prime shopping areas, between via Candia, via Ottaviano and via Cola di Rienzo.

Very disappointed In this stay. There was no breakfast included due to Covid so we got to use the mini fridge in the room. It doesn’t work it’s not cold enough and I had to ask numerous of times to get it fixed and it’s still warm. Also I had trouble even getting into the main building, took ages to figure out what key is for each door. The walls here are filthy (in the pictures below) and if you’re going to make this luxury, at least make the place clean first. The only good thing about this was the shower that changed colour however the hairdryer doesn’t work, tried plugging it in loads, nothing worked. Overall absolute disappointment

Yes, it could be a wonderful journey for us but this owner and room made it terrible memory for us. Well first, Fabrizio which I still don't know what was his position in the hotel because first we thought he is a driver but later it seemed that his is somehow more than a driver took us to a very old building, with a very old and small lift and then he gave us a voucher for breakfast which actually was written in the website that will be served in the place and it was not true and he showed a café in front of our building and told us that go there and have breakfast! He was not kind as in reviews they say but rude. The room was so tiny with so much noise of the street, nothing special at the room and very old and used blankets , we paid 100 Euro per night, which with less than that money we had a much better hotel room later. In the photos we saw some luxury rooms with views and balconies and what we get was completely different thing. We talked with booking.com and they called at the morning after to the owner, A guy called which we don’t know who exactly was him and talked to us in the worst way possible and when we complained that the room in the photos different to this one he shout at us that you are telling lie it is the same room and it is the best you can get. We were so stressed and shocked that in a strange country they are so impolite and rude to us, they told us they won’t give our money back. Truly, they made a terrible start for our journey, my sister lost half of her time of her congress and we didn’t get our money back. It was such a fraud and deceit.

Very near the Vatican ,but very noisy road . Room not as expected ,a few hiccups, not able to use the safe as no key .Shower did not work had to hold the shower head in our hand to have a shower .On complaining eventually 2 days later it was sorted . Then there was a leak from the shower and unfortunately the owner did not believe us ,after mopping up the floor with towels and informing the owner again leaving the wet towels in the bath hoping they would be replaced ,not the case . Contacting the owner who arranged for his son to bring us towels. He was very helpful and polite and asked us to send photos if it happened again as the problem had been sorted ,same thing happened . We took photos and sent them to him he then did believe us . But we're unable to use the shower and no apology given . Not the best of experience

Tucked behind a beautiful wooden door in a quiet Roman neighborhood, Vaticano Julia is such a find. The apartment has multiple rooms with private baths. Each room is slightly different but all are nicely appointed with modern furniture and fixtures and absolutely spotless. Loved the shower! If you are someone that thinks about safety, well, the building had 2 locked doors, the apartment unit had a lock and finally your room had a lock. PLENTY Safe. Gianluca, a Roman native, is the owner and proprietor of Vaticano Julia. He arranged to meet us there when we arrived and showed us around the apartment and made suggestions about getting around in Rome. The neighborhood was wonderful--quiet and tree-lined and walking distance to the Vatican. There was also a cab station across the street. Although Vaticano Julia provides a light breakfast, next door is a fabulous cafe called Cafe Four Roses. They make the best cappuccinos and the pastries and egg dishes are delicious. Down the street is another find called Bibi & Romeo. It was like walking into someone's kitchen and sitting down to dinner. All in all, a wonderful experience in Rome.
