Travelled around Europe for a few weeks so needed cheap hotels for a few nights at a time, some were awful, but this one was fantastic! We chose this hotel because there was a great deal on at the time, we didn't even really look to see what it was like but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The only...

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is situated between Termini and Coloseum, at walking distance from these points. The room is clean, although there was an incident with the bed sheet ( I think it has not been changed ) I talked to the receptionist and they have given me another one and changed the bed...

We stayed at Valeri 5 nights. This was our first time in Rome. We only used the hotel for sleeping and for eating breakfast. When in Rome you want to explore the city, not the hotel ;-). Francesco in the reception was fantastic. He helped us alot no matter what our challenges was. The other staff was also amazing! Beds...

Perfect location, just 15min walking to Colosseum. Cleaned and big room with all the facilities, big bathroom with a huge shower. Staff really friendly and helpful!! Also if we arrived before usual checkin time our room was ready, and on the last day we could stay longer then usual check out, thanks to Francesco! Great experience in Rome!!

We stayed at Valeri for 5 nights. Great central location to many of Roma's attractions. The hotel is very cosy and clean with great front of house staff. A big thankyou to Francesco who went above and beyond, was a wealth of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou Hotel Valeri, will certainly recommend.

Most comfortable bed ever, close to same hot spots of the city, very kind personnel and a cute yard you can enjoy your coffe or snack. Very clean and only disadvantage was the small bathroom. Geneally, a great choise for Rome.

The room we had was lovely and the location was perfect! We arrived early and immediately shown to our room. We were on honeymoon and the hotel had noted that and given us such a lovely room which was a suite. A huge superking bed, private patio , sofa, double sink bathroom and a bottle of fizz to celebrate. We...

We stayed for one night here earlier this month at the start of a family holiday in Italy. The hotel is very well located for the Coliseum and a lot of the central sights. The beds are extremely comfortable so we slept really well. That's about all the good points I can mention though. As others have commented, the woman...

This little B&B style hotel is truly a great find. It is within walking distance of the colosseum and yet it feels away from the busy city. We all found out stay excellent, the rooms were spacious and it really felt like you were living in someone's house. The breakfasts were simple but good. I cannot complement the staff enough,...

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
