Stayed at The Glam for 7 nights. Efficient check in greeted warmly from the outset. Staff were welcoming and always helpful. Rooftop bar is fabulous, great atmosphere with live music at the weekends. Family room was spacious but lacked storage with only one wardrobe and drawer between 3. Room was spotlessly cleaned every day, with fresh towels. Breakfast replenished constantly, we ate inside though due to wasps and pigeons hovering early morning. Central hotel in walking distance to the Trevi, Colosseum, and the Forum. Highly recommend would definitely stay again
This hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the train station. Very conveniently located in the center of all the important touristy sites. Easy to catch a cab outside hotel and less than 10 euros to go most places. Most places are walkable as well, but we were there in the scorching heat and only walked a few places. The rooftop bar was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing with a very friendly staff. Breakfast was also served in this area. We also ate dinner here one night and it was great. The rooms are small and no door to separate the shower and sink area from the room. So not much privacy. Know your roommate well! Hotel was beautiful!
A lovely hotel in a prime location 5/7 minute walk to colosseum. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from within a 1 minute walk of the hotel.Taxi rank just across the road from the hotel was a bonus. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great selection at breakfast. The roof top bar is fantastic to relax on in the evening after a day of sightseeing. Daily housekeeping was excellent. The only negative I have is a lack of storage in the rooms (1 draw) and a wardrobe. I would definitely stay here again
Was on a birthday trip with my daughter . Stayed 8 nights , the reception staff very accommodating and helpful if you ask any question . Serving staff in the restaurant, not very nice not the breakfast staff , had a rude encounter on arrival with a serving staff while waiting for my room to be ready. Hotel very clean and centrally located . Felt very safe while staying in this hotel, truly a gem. Nothing to do with the hotel , but travellers beware of the taxi drivers , had a few really bad experience, some of them do not want to put the meter on and demand fix rate for trips in the city. From airport their is a fix rate , but always confirm before entering the taxi . Lots of restaurants close by , use the tunnel and you are in the heart of everything. Would definitely stay here again if I every visit Rome again. Thank you all at the Glam .…
Stayed in room 408 19th June for 4 nights. What can I say, brilliant, superb etc. FABULOUS staff go out of their way to help, reception, housekeeping and top bar staff.plus Hernan the man Good hearty breakfast included, The Glam is in ideal location to walk to all the main attractions but suggest book an organised trip to the Vatican, with hotel pickup as its 3 mile away, we used Viator ,, Always enjoyed a large chardonnay on the 5th floor terrace from 10pm. On our final night I spent 15 minutes chatting to the hotel owner who was most interested in guests points and values, plus the extra large chardonnay as his guest was superb. Spotlessly clean , covid safe as it could be, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOTEL
We visited the Glam for a weekend treat in Rome, just wow, from the point of check in to the moment we left the staff and hotel were amazing. A very professionally run hotel with such a relaxed vibe, super clean and stylish. Spacious rooms with a high level finish. Staff were always smiling and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect for the local sights and restaurants, the colosseum being a 10 minute walk, town Center 15 mins, trevi fountain 15 mins and Vatican city 25mins. Local taxi rank opposite the hotel entrance and the metro a short walk. All in all an outstanding hotel in a great location to enjoy the beautiful City of Rome.
This hotel is in a fantastic location. All of Romes attractions are in easy reach. The hotel itself is stylish and modern. The staff are fantastic and can’t do enough for you. Best of all it boasts a roof top cocktail bar and restaurant. As a birthday treat we booked one four course meal one evening, which I have to say was the best meal I’ve ever had. It cost around £170 with wine but was well worth it. We ended our evenings here every night with a cocktail. We will certainly be returning to Rome and will definitely be staying at the Glam Hotel.
We have booked a deluxe room for 1,800 € for 7 days. The room had a nice size. The room was located in a closed shaft without any view of the sky or the city. The room was therefore in the dark. Whether the sun was shining or it was cloudy was not possible to see from the windows of the room. The said shaft was to be covered by a steel structure. if one opened the windows an infernal noise from some compressors entered the room. When hot water was to be used in the bathroom, the water had to run for 12 to 15 minutes before the water was hot enough for a bath. The closet in the room was quite small and could not hold clothes for two people. It is clear that I do not think the room was worth the price, therefore can unfortunately not recommend this hotel.
The Glam hotel has a lot going for it. The interior is quite elegant. Our room was very quiet with good amenities, plenty of hot water and everything was super clean. The front desk is very attentive and they're able to hold your luggage after check-out. In particular, we appreciated the breakfast buffet which was fantastic - everything from hot eggs and meats to croissants and pastries and a nice collection of gluten-free options. The rooftop bar is lovely with a fantastic view of the Via Nazionale and good drinks and snacks. The bar service is slow and be aware of the roaming pigeons - the largest I've ever seen - which will come calling if you leave your plate unattended. The "piscina" is really a large jacuzzi and it's 50 euros a go, so we didn't indulge. The hotel is within walking distance to the Coliseum and there is lots to see in the area.…
A lovely hotel in a great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very well appointed. Continental breakfast ideal for us. the hotel is very centrally located and we walked everywhere around Rome city centre. Minutes to all the highlights and a nice walk to the Vatican. Only slight quibble is the toiletries in the bathroom were not replenished. An oversight perhaps. I'd happily stay again if back in Rome .... PS Rome itself is absolutely stunning. The most beautiful city I've ever visited. It's an incredible open air museum!
