Beautiful hotel. Convenient location, friendly staff. We were in a family room which is quite small but beautifully appointed, the rooftop restaurant is a perfect place to enjoy the view, a Prosecco and the best Caesar salad. Would definitely stay again.

The Tribune is an oasis in the beautiful chaos that is Rome. We had an excellent 4 night stay in the city. Each staff member we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. We were surprised by a delicious plate of fruit for celebrating our 10th anniversary. We also enjoyed our balcony and hearing the bells of the church. The terrace has gorgeous views while sipping a delicious spritz. We would not hesitate to return.

Staff was so nice and helpful! Made you feel welcomed. Hotel was very clean. Loved the roof top bar, excellent cocktails. Liked that the hotel was not busy with lots of other tourists around. Easy to get taxi to other parts of the city

Tribune went way above board for us. We had a nightmare at the W and we ended up with a free night here and they were more than hospitable. Ilaria at the front desk is the best! She took care of us even though we had a ground floor room. We were able to close heavy doors to keep the noise out. We were upgraded to a King Deluxe room as well (G-02). The room had plenty of space for two people and everything worked as expected. They even offered us a complimentary bottle of red wine at check in. My one knock on the Tribune would be noise but being on the ground floor it’s somewhat expected. They have a rooftop restaurant with a fantastic staff and really good food. The tech in the room could probably use an update as the TV seemed to be about 7-8 years old and I struggled to get my devices paired up with it. It’s a nice, basic boutique hotel with a wonderful staff, a rooftop terrace restaurant and it’s centrally located. If you want a simple, leisurely stay the Tribune does the job.

Room Tip: I would probably try to avoid the ground floor due to the noise.

I was definitely not impressed with this hotel. I booked the hotel thru British Airways and the room description was 1 King Premiere, 1 King Bed, City Views, Free Wifi, Smart TV. We arrived at our room which was located in the marble stairwell. I have attached a picture of our "city view". I was not impressed but tried to make the best of it. We went out sightseeing, and after dinner came back to the room. The smart TV kept giving us a message every 5-10 minutes saying poor connection. We then would channel up and down and channel came back. As our room was in the stairwell, every time a guest used it we could hear them clomping up the marble staircase and voices would echo. I went to go to bed and found a large streak of blood on the sheets, so either they had not changed the bedding or they put on a stained sheet. I went down to complain since this was not a cheap hotel stay. I told them this was unacceptable and I wanted a different room. I was told that the hotel was full and there were no other rooms available. They did come up and change our linens. The next day I was informed that I had to stay in that room one more night and then they could move us. I agree with everyone else that says the rooms are small, there is no where to put your luggage or store your belongings. They tried to make the rooms look chic but you need them to be functional also. We did get moved for the 3rd night of our 7 night stay. This room was also not functional, and also had the same TV problem. A couple of the nights we went to the rooftop bar for a drink. They seemed to be understaffed, so that was not very smooth either. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and definitely not room 109 that is in the stairwell. With all of these problems, the only thing that I received was an apology. I think a Hyatt hotel can do better

I love Hyatt but not this hotel. Do not understand any of the glowing reviews. The Good: Wonderful professional and helpful staff from front desk to housekeeping. Great location. Comfortable beds and nice linens. The Bad: Two nights in this hotel room was more than enough. It is super dark in the main room with only a few pinpoint lights on one side of the ceiling. Dark decor. You could not see anything inside the closet/wardrobe unit without a flashlight including the safe. There is no dresser desk or anywhere to put anything!! As Hyatt members we were given an "upgraded" room. This was first floor to an ugly datk view of trash, rear of buildings, air conditioning units and wrought iron gate. No daylight to speak of. Uncomfortable dark vinyl floor was tacky to walk on with slippers. The upgrade was a daybed type thing in the room. If you irder room service there would be nowhere to eat other than your bed. One high top table. No seats ither thsn liw bench. Then, the bathroom.... while it had a nice and sleek, modern bathroom fixtures and marble type wall coverings it was completely impractical and uncomfortable. There is a stupid sink that gives you no vanity or countertop space whatsoever. It is lighted I guess they think that is interesting, but it would've been better to utilize the full width of that space. There's literally nowhere to put your make up or cosmetics or toiletries. The underneath area of the vanity is filled with towels and other items. In addition, they never caulked the back of this vanity to the wall and if you try to wash or splash, any water back there, you will end up with a giant puddle on the floor. We did report this we thought we could gain some space by trying to hang the towels on the ridiculous towel rack that is over the big day. That is one of those trendy ladder type ones that looks like a heated towel warmer only it is it instead it has rungs that are so close together that no towels can fit through most of the spaces. The highly touted rooftop terrace looked very uninviting when we went up there there was no one there. It did not have a variety of items to select from on the menu so based on the general vibe from our uncomfortable accomodation, we opted out of trying. It also is wrapped in shrink wrap, I guess because it's still cold weather and was not much of a view in my opinion. To sum up, I could not wait to check out. It is an affordable price compared to some of the other hotels in the area , but I will not be staying here again if I visit Rome.
