This place is right down the street from Termini train and subway station, and a block from where the airport bus lets you off. Super convenient, but at night the area is not the nicest. The hotel is on one floor of a large building. Some stairs until you get to the elevator. Lorenzo the host is wonderful, cheerful, friendly,...

This B&B has a good location, just next to Termini. I chose this place because I stayed in Rome for a night and I have to go next day to the airport, but even so, you have the train station next to the hotel so you can easily go anywhere; if you choose to walk, you will find Fontana di...

I've spent 6 nights with my girlfriend during a visit in Rome. The place is great. The staff is very friendly and help us with everything that we needed. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is excellent. The location within less than 5 minutes walk to the Termini station is great. It is a bit far from the...

Had a great stay. Excellent location to get to from the station. Easy from the airport. Near the metro. Excellent facilities for such a small place. About a 12 min walk to the coliseum. Safe in room, small fridge and hair dryer. Really friendly staff. Would recommend!!!

Great bang for your buck. Very well located with a very friendly/helpful staff. An older gentleman helped us in the evening when we arrived and although he didn't speak English, I was able to communicate to him in Spanish and we were able to understand one another as he didn't know hardly any English. He was VERY helpful and patient...

While the entrance is not the best the B&B was close to Termini which was helpful as we planned our trip around Rome & further south. We arrived late and were given tea, juices and biscuits. Much appreciated. While the accommodation is not luxurious it was spotless. Breakfast was simple with a yoghurt, pastries, orange juice & tea/coffee.

There are only three rooms at this place, so once you know your dates book it quick! The owner was like a mom who took care of everyone who stayed there. Breakfast is free, and it's very substantial. You get free wifi. It's only a couple blocks from Termini Station. If I'm ever in Rome again I will stay there.

Very clean, close to Termini station. Cozy room, hot shower. The owner and staff were super nice. A bit hard to find, but that's even better! Wifi worked perfect. Breakfast modest but yummy. I would definitely go back!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
