So here are the lists *Pro: very clean, great location, helpful and kind staff *Con: breakfast is very small, had to struggle to get hot water, note Rome city tax not included in offer, walls are very thin Would I stay here again...? Ill only consider it if they give a bigger breakfast and make sure the hot water is... More

In a very convenient location close to piazza Venezia and piazza navona this hotel is in the 2nd and 3rd floor of an old building. The staff is very helpful and polite , the rooms are cozy but with no soundproofing at all. Breakfast is served in the room. Taxi and bus station is very close.

Comfortable, clean and good located hotel. Great staff with friendly service. Price/quality very good. Make sure that you use an app to reach the hotel as it's a bit hidden. Breakfast simple; croissant, orange juice and coffee/thea. Fresh fruits served by asking. Recommend!

Very reasonable hotel with nicely renovated rooms. Pleasant and helpful staff. A perfect location, almost all the main sights within a half hours walk. Plenty local and authentic restaurants to be found and a close hop over the river to Trastevere. Map shows wrong location and there is no prominent sign for the hotel so a little difficult to find... Definitely this is the kind of place that makes one feels disappointed. We had been impressed by the pictures of the hotel and its high rating on TripAdvisor. When we arrived at the front door, we thought we were on the wrong place. That creepy building appeared more like a ghost house. No elevator, no porter, no help to reach... More

Spent 2 nights in this hotel. Great location near Campo de Fiori. Room 308 has probs to get wifi. Guess that no prob with the others. Nice and helpful staff. Breakfast served by the room. Some eateries around. Recommend to rent a Vespa in Motos Roma. Ask the staff.

The hotel is in an old building near many of the city center sights. And a bunch of bars and restaurants. It's on the second floor with no elevator. The room is tight but very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom is clean and modern as well. The most impressive thing and why I'm eating it high, is the service... More

I am very picky but realised quickly that accommodation is very expensive in Rome. I looked for ages and finally found Domus Esther. What a little gem it was! I was so happy with the location, the room and the cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Other reviews had mentioned that it was a little tricky to find, we did a bit... More

Old, old building , no elevator and steeple stairs. But nice very clean room and great helpful staff, fluent in englush. And close to everything, within walking distance to most of recommended places. Also try a dinner at Matricanella, via Leone 4. Great roman food at fair price. Definitely , not a tourist trap.

We stayed at Domus Ester for a second time on our last trip to Roma. The staff is incredibly helpful and will even fold the clothes you've thrown around the room. The breakfast is typical italian and they serve it in your room at your requested hour. The location is terrific; right by Campo de' Fiori and Trastevere, so you... More
