We spent a week at this lovely hotel. The staff are all exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and ours had a spacious terrace. The garden is delightful and unusual for Rome. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Close to Piazza Bologna and its excellent connections to central Rome, this is a great place to stay for those who prefer a bit more space and green surroundings than one can find in overpriced hotels in the centre of Rome.

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff. We stayed for two nights and had a lovely room. Looked like an outhouse surrounded by jasmine climbers everywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful and had great breakfast options.

First of all, Lorenzo made our stay that extra bit better as he was so friendly and helpful, he even helped us translate a takeaway page into English so that we could order some dinner to the hotel so very big thanks to Lorenzo! Location of this hotel isn't in the city center, around 10-13 euros for a taxi into the center dependent on the day and time as extra tariffs can apply. Just down the road there is a 24hr supermarket which was very ideal and reasonably priced. The hotel itself was nice - I've given a 4 out of 5 overall as the staff and breakfast upped the averageness of this hotel. The breakfast was lovely, a mixture of continental and some hot food too. The beds in our room were comfy but our standard room was very small, even for 2 people but then again, we weren't in the room a lot! The bathroom was huge though, shower decent but went hot to cold quite a lot. Overall the hotel was very clean - our favourite part was the garden with very modern and comfy sofa areas, plus it was very quiet! We were also offered a complimentary drink on arrival which was very pleasant. What lets this hotel down is definitely the location, we spent a lot of money on taxis as the public transport was impossible to get the hang of. Other than that, it's a nice hotel without a doubt. Drinks were expensive but we found everywhere in Rome very overpriced. The hotel is a mixture of old fashioned and modern, but I would personally say this hotel is more of a 3 star plus than a 4 star. Very ideal for people who like to do a lot of walking, I believe you can walk to certain tourist attractions within 30-40 minutes. Overall pleased, was a nice experience.

The villa like hotel was discreet and calm with a garden to sit outside. Our room was good, the breakfast suited us perfectly and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was about 10 minutes walk from the Metro.

I booked an economy room for more than 100 Euro and it turned out to be a basement room which is super dark and smelled horribly like mold. There was also a disconcerting stain on the ceiling close to the bathroom. As the window is facing a wall there is almost no fresh air coming in even when opening it. Avoid basement room 1 if you can. I complained at the reception and only received an upgrade for the next day due to full booking for half the upgrade price. The superior room was very nice but also very hot during the night and the ventilation is not working super good. Breakfast is ok, but I would expect something better for that price. The breakfast room however is very nice. All in all I would not stay here again as the value for money is not great.
