If you're a light sleeper, then this isn't the place for you. It is close to a train line with trains passing nearly every half an hour during the day. The rooms unfortunately are not really sound proof either. On our first night we had people in the room next to us that kept us awake until almost midnight just... More

This B&B is cozily nestled in a triangle formed by a busy road, a train track and the 24h Carrefour supermarket. Be aware from noise neighborhood (train, dogs, etc). Breakfast: coffee was yuk, worst we had in Italy. Twinings tea saved the day. Yoghurt is all non-fat, so if you don't like those you’ll have to grab your own from... More

We stayed at La Casa di Plinio for 2 nights at the beginning of october. What a rare find we couldnt have been made more welcome by the charmnig hosts Martina and her brother Salvatore. Martina helped us with our car even moving it in their private parking to let other guests out so as not to disturb us! Our... More

I stayed at this wonderful b&b with my Mum for 4 nights. We visited the ruins of Pompeii and Ercolano and took a trip on the train to Sorrento. Brother and sister Salvatore and Martina were such lovely friendly people and couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel welcome and at home. Would recommend this lovely place without... More

We chose B&B La Casa di Plinio based on Tripadvisor reviews and I must say, it did not disappoint. The rooms are ample in size and spotless. The area is quiet and just a short walk to the ruins or shopping. Martina and Salvatore are perfect hosts, offering very satisfying breakfasts as well as tips to save time and money.... More

The B&B was perfect. The room was clean and furnished to a high standard. Martine was so helpful and advised on the best restaurants around to eat in and advised about the visit to Pompeii itself. We had a early flight out of Naples and Martine offered to make us up some breakfast to take with us. She also ensured... More

I booked this due to the comments and reviews , plus the location. This was the best experience of my trip. I had an issue with the train I was travelling on and was stranded in the middle of the night at one of the suburban Pompei Stations. where trains run hourly and I was pretty sure I missed the... Stayed here for two nights with husband and 11-year-old son. Spotless room, nicely furnished and decorated, was large enough to accomodate us quite comfortably. Small (actually very small) bathroom but very pretty. Martina and Salvatore like chatting with their guests and have plenty of tips for visiting and dining, which we found great in such a tricky tourist hub like... More

This is an excellent place to stay if you want to visit the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and to climb Vesuvius. The Pompeii site is within easy walking distance. Herculaneum and Vesuvius are short drives away. Martina and Salvatore -- sister and brother -- are very pleasant and eager to please. Salvatore is quite knowledgeable about ancient Pompeii. They... We stayed here one night to see the ruins of Pompeii. The stay was comfortable and Martina was accommodating and helpful with suggestions for dinner plans and things to do around the area. The included breakfast was also delicious (see croissant picture attached). Would gladly stay again!
