We stayed here in May 2017. When we arrived to check-in we had to pay upfront before we had even inspected the room. We were then taken to another building (the annex) approx 600m away in another road - Corso Umberto. With increasing incredulity we were shown into a commercial building & escorted up several flights of stairs (there is a small lift) through a large metal door into a suite of rooms. Our bedroom, whilst clean, did not have an en-suite bathroom. It did, however have a private bathroom accessible across a communal hallway. We were only left one set of keys so you either had to lock your partner in the room when you wanted to use the bathroom or risk another guest/person entering your unlocked bathroom whilst using it. We immediately complained by email, but, unsurprisingly received no response. In this annex, which is NOT a hotel, there is no receptionist or front desk nor bar/snack bar facilities. Our room did not contain a telephone, nor a room safe, nor a minibar. Finally, we were served the most meagre breakfast we have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Upon checking out we complained again and were told that we would receive a "discount" in view of our grievances. We are still waiting!

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked this hotel for my husbands 30th birthday as it was a total let down. Firstly, the room was advertised on booking.com and stayed that parking was included under facilities, parking definitely was not included and was in actual fact a car parking garage around the corner which cost an extra 100 euros just to park! Yes booking.com is to blame for the misleading information but things just went from bad to worse! • upon booking I was asked if any special requests, I explained that the visit was for my husbands 30th and anything special they could offer would be greatly appreciated. On arrival we was greeted by a very snappy receptionist, who barked at me ‘we didn’t read your message!’ Well why even ask!!!! • On our first night we were put into a very small room with a very large air conditioner/generator that had been boxed in, taking away the window light. No sleep due to the noise and had to request to change rooms the following day - a different receptionist was very helpful with this but did initially ask us to check out at 10:30 and then check back in at 3pm to access new room. • Dirty - spilled water on the floor which I wiped up with a napkin and this came up black. • shower bracket came away from the wall every time we wanted to use the shower. • no spa - if there was we didn’t see it and definitely was not shown to us. • breakfast abysmal! A toaster with no bread, cereal with no milk every single guest looked appalled at the quality of food and a very unapproachable miserable lady in charge. • cleaners using vacuum in the middle of the afternoon when we were trying to rest due to no sleep the night before! • rooms were not as nice as portrayed on the photos - please be aware this hotel is only 3* and had me fooled that it was something it is not.

The pictures look nicer than reality. But the main problem was that our room key didn't work property. Sometimes we had great difficulties getting in our room. At first night the receptionist promised to fix the problem the next day, but until the evening nothing had happened. When asking about it he put the blame on us saying that we should have asked again someone to fix the door in the morning. He didn't say so the previous evening. So we had to deal with a broken door all our stay (2 nights). Poor service.

Was using this hotel as a base for coastal trips and I have to say firstly that Naples is downright scary in how run-down it is! Hotel is a GOOD 30 min walk from the station and if you're dragging a suitecase, it's going to hurt. Checked in and was asked to pay up-front and they had kept my card on file from the booking - first time either of those happened on my entire trip and I worry that as my card was hacked the next day, was there a coincidence? Front desk had minimal knowledge of where to get buses and my google efforts were more fruitful. Room and bathroom was clean - bathroom was the largest I'd seen on my trip, but room was nowhere near as 'quirky' or 'funky' as I'd seen on the pics and I didn't see a hint of a spa anywhere. Breakfast was quite meager and uninspiring. If you're in town on a Sunday, prepare to be hard pressed to find a restaurant open. Best I found was a Chinese restaurant a 10 min walk away, but on Monday night things definitely picked up. I would recommend for single female travelers, but not sure that I'd recommend Naples to anyone.

We missed our flight to Naples and can't hold the reservation. We called the hotel directly and before 6 p.m. on arrival day. But the hotel have taken 100%! from my credit card for this night - no fairness in trade.

A presto, Hotel Angioino
