Me & my boyfriend were staying in this B&B for one week and we couldn‘t imagine a better place for our stay. It‘s a small B&B with 3 rooms located in the center of Vomero but very close to the metrostation Medaglie d‘Oro, to a nice shopping street with many restaurants, bars and markets. The owner of the B&B is a young Italian guy named Marko, who is very friendly and open to give you a lot of recommendations for your stay in Naples. He really made us feel like at home. Every morning you will find a big breakfast including homemade cakes. The place was very quiet and perfectly clean and they make your room everyday if you want. We can only recommend to stay at The Bibliotechina and also we are sure we will be back soon!!
Nice residental district, kind and helpful host. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Good public trabsport to the city. Excellent restaurant recommended by the host. Shops and a small mall in the neighbourhod. Weekly market is on Wednesdays in the area.
This was the first time we had visited Naples and we were not disappointed by our choice of accommodation. Marco is lovely, friendly, cheerful and a great host. It is a short walk from the metro station and very easy to find as the instructions provided were very clear. As two women we felt safe in the area, which was good because there were certain parts of Naples where we didn't feel entirely comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided was good, but if you're not used to Italian breakfast, skip the cake. It's yummy but very sweet! Definitely a great place to stay and we hope to return.
We had a wonderful stay at the Bibliotechina, where Marco made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Situated on a hill slightly outside of the centre, it was a good base for exploring the city. The centre can be quite chaotic so it was nice to come back to a calmer area at the end of the evening! There are good transport links with the metro only a short walk away and a taxi back (when we had missed the last metro!) was only 10€. Marco was full of tips for what to visit and where to eat and showed us where everything was on a map. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with everything you could need from shower gel and a hairdryer to a mini fridge stocked with drinks. There was a nice spread for breakfast, including three choices of cake - one of which was a local speciality - fresh fruit, fruit juices and of course coffee, which Marco went to great trouble to get right for each of my friends! I'm not a coffee drinker myself but they said it was good! We were able to leave our luggage on the last day which is always handy and Marco kindly called a taxi to take us to the airport (fixed price of 23€). I would highly recommend the Bibliotechina, it was excellent value for money.…
Marco is a nice host, very charming and helpful. The B&B is absolutely clean. The rooms are big and bathroom is bigger than the most bathrooms I see in hotels. The breakfast is typical napoletan/italian. For italy it was perfect, he offered cakes (usual italian and special napoletan), croissants, tea, GOOD coffee,.... He gave us a lot of hints for do's and dont's in napoli. The restaurants hints were amazing. Try Sorbillo in the old town or elivras close to the B&B. Close to the B&B there are a lot of bars, coffees and good (not the usual ones) take aways. All over it was a perfect stay for our 2 days in napoli! We could stay there for 1 week too. We would absolutely recommend this B&B and we will stay there again when we come back to Napoli. Thank you Marco! Regards Marina e Marc…
