Great modern styled hotel in the centre of Naples. We only stayed one night and were really pleased with everything at the hotel. Very clean with comfortable beds. Lovely courtyard for evening drinks or afternoon coffee.

I would definitely stay here again when in Naples. This is in an artsy area of Naples, close to museums and lots of bookstores. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel rooms are very well laid out and modern and clean looking. The bathrooms are big by European standards. Hooks everywhere for hanging your stuff. You could easily stay here for a week. We had a room overlooking the courtyard and it was very quiet at night. Only thing I would add is a kettle to make coffee in the room. The shower head was a little clogged with calcium from the water, but otherwise everything was wonderful. They even provide wake up calls at 5am. We had a very early morning flight and missed the breakfast, but the hotel staff was very nice to provide us with a bagged take away breakfast which was very good. We would definitely stay again!

Currently staying at Hotel Piazza Bellini, halfway through a 6 night stay and so far cannot fault. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, room is lovely, good size with a nice small balcony over the courtyard, clean, comfortable, good shower etc etc, and breakfast good with great choices, all very tasty and good quality. The courtyard is a tranquil haven in the busy city, the hotel is in a great location for sight seeing, restaurants, nightlife, shopping. Did peak at a room with terrace overlooking the city/Vesuvius, looked fab and worth the upgrade if you can.

This hotel gave us a great suite with a loft during our two-night stay in Naples. The rooms were immaculate, and the hotel had a wonderful street-level courtyard, as well as a cool reading area on our floor. The staff was friendly, and the neighborhood was nice with kind of a Bohemian vibe. We’d definitely stay here again.

This hotel was described by Rick Steves as an oasis of sanity in Naples. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, though not luxurious. The AC was important after a hot day at Pompeii! And the breakfast that comes with your room is the best I’ve had in my two weeks in Italy. But you need to brace yourself for the graffiti, trash and grime that’s just outside of the hotel. Although the hotel is very quiet, it’s in an area of Naples that hosts large groups of young people every night in Piazza Bellini, just feet from the hotel. The area is safe but the amount of rubbish that piles up at the end of each night of drinking is astonishing, we arrived on a Saturday afternoon and rubbish wasn’t collected until Monday. needless to say that college kids can empty a lot of containers in three nights and all of it was piled in and around dumpsters on the street. I can’t however explain the graffiti which is abundant, I have never in my 60 odd years seen so much. Upon arrival I have to admit to being pretty disturbed. But we got used to it and came to realize that the seemingly dumpy surroundings don’t carry through the entire city nor do thy reflect this hotel.

Response from PzzBll, Hotel Manager at Hotel Piazza Bellini & Apartments
Responded 4 days ago
Dear David C, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are glad to read that you chose to stay with us following Rick Stevens' positive feedback, that you found the room comfortable and quiet despite our location in the town centre and that you considered our breakfast to be the best one you had during your overall stay in Italy. We are happy you were overall satisfied with your stay in our hotel, however we would like to take this opportunity to emphasize that we are a 3* Hotel, and even though we are considered the best 3* Hotel in Naples and are located in a fined building of great historical value, we are not a category of hotel where you can find "luxury", or at least not in its traditional meaning. Nevertheless, both in some unique solutions adopted by the hotel and in the way our hotel staff operates, always going the extra mile and striving to create added value for our guest's stay, you can find something that in our opinion can be described as "luxurious", as it is not common to all hotels (regardless of their category). An example amongst all, we believe it is a « luxury » to have highly qualified and trained receptionists and head of departments who, compared to other competitors, are always available to give the best directions to tourists in order to allow them to make the most of their days in a beautiful but not easy city as Naples. For us, this is luxury! Finally, as regards the traditional concept of luxury, we would like to inform you that only since recently we offer the opportunity to stay in valuable mini apartments, definitely of a higher category than rooms, with different areas and some of them with roof terrace, offering a view of the town from the top. Visit our website to find out more and to reserve them as our apartments are only available if you book directly with us or on our website hotelpiazzabellini.com We hope you will come and stay with us again in another occasion, maybe in one of our brand new apartments. Best regards, The Hotel Manager
