You need to manage your expectations before staying here. Don't get me wrong - if you go expecting three-star standard, you'll be absolutely fine, but if you go thinking you'll get a four-star experience, you'll be tinged with disappointment. The location by the train station is perfect for getting about, and it's probably just as well - the Napoli streets are generally jam-packed, so getting a taxi is a bit of a bother. In the reception, it looks pretty plush and the staff were extremely helpful (brilliant English too, which isn't a given in the city), but the room was the cause of my consternation. It was certainly clean, just a bit basic for four-star, and the safe would be no use for storing anything much larger than your passport. There was a good range of food at breakfast, although a couple of options on the coffee machine weren't working, which was a pity - the espresso certainly was though, and it was pretty delicious, so it's a shame the other options weren't on. I just stayed for a night and it's absolutely fine for that - truth be told, it probably would be if you were staying for a few days, just think of it as a three-star place, and you'll have a great time.

It’s nothing special but we wanted to stay near the central station and we didn’t have any issues with this hotel. Yes, the area around the station isn’t nice, but that’s hardly the fault of the hotel. And to be honest, we didn’t encounter any issues or at any point feel unsafe between 8am - 9pm (we were with our baby so weren’t aren’t late). No one ever approached us or anything weird like that. It’s right by the main station and from there you can get a train to Pompeii or the underground to all the main tourist areas. The bus to and from the airport stops at the station too so very convenient all round. Rooms, staff and cleanliness of the hotel all good. Breakfast wasn’t anything special but enough to fill you up until lunch. Standard continental selection. There isn’t a hotel restaurant but there is a restaurant literally next door where guests get a discount. We ate there one night and it was really nice food. Recommend if you arrive late and aren’t keen to go far afield for dinner. And there is also a cafe next door with food and drinks to go. Lastly to avoid confusion, you can walk to the hotel from inside the station through like a back door route. This way is preferable so you avoid the Main Street it’s on which isn’t great. Just keep walking to the end of the station (you go outside but it’s covered) then come into another mini mall sort of place and end up in the hotel reception.

We have arrived at the Stelle Hotel and we were greeted very warmly by the staff, they were very helpful and they upgraded us to a junior suite free of charge we have a balcony and the suite is spotless. This is a stop over for one night before we go to Milan so we have not been to explore Naples, there is not much to see unless you go further to the coast but there is a lot of history to explore and we would like to have stayed longer to see more of the city. The restaurant in the hotel is reasonably priced and the food is good.

after a long flight which melted the mind and the brain , we hoped once we finally arrived in Napoli we would be finally with our feet on the ground , and so being able to get in our hotel and then be able to relax would be a huge comfort . having checked in to the hotel finally which was a good thing , the staff at checkin were welcoming helpful and made our first encounter a pleasant one . the overall setup of the hotel was different in not a spacious lobby area being its connected to a restaurant and many buildings but what it lacks in space makes up for its location to everything ,public transport etc . the staff we have met so far have been a real asset to the hotel making our stay worth every bit a good one .

We used Naples as our hub city to get from Rome, and to the Amalfi Coast. Stelle is a 3 minute walk to the train station and a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very nice. My only complaint is that it was very loud, almost as if the walls were made out of tissue paper. I could hear the man sneezing next door and doors to other rooms slamming in the morning.
