I stayed there for five nights and have really nothing positive to say. The staff members are rude and not reliable. They showed up late for breakfast and refused to keep our bags later than noon. The location is not bad, but the area doesn't make you feel safe, with people trying to sneak into the building when you enter it and lots of drunk people around. The wifi is really bad, with poor signal and poor speed. Breakfast is just disgusting. They don't stir the juice so all the concentrate is in the bottom and the water on top, they sometimes give croissants from the day before, there is nothing savory for the croissants (no ham or even cheese). The rooms are old, so are the bathrooms, with mold on the shower joints, a bad humidity smell, and a moving toilet seat. They make beds daily, but they don't vacuum the floor, and under the bed, it looks like it had not been cleaned in several weeks. Avoid, there are tons of other B&Bs with nicer staff, better breakfast and cleaner rooms.

Faced with such delirium, we believe it is right to avoid any kind of replication on our part. The only thing that we can say firmly is that this review is not related to our B & B, it is not related to the work we do professionally every day.We kindly ask the author of this review if he can kindly remove it. The one reviewed is not the B & B Conte Cavour

Thia bnb is located just outside the city center (about 5-10 mts of walking), across from a subway station and about 4 mts walking from another, bigger subway station. Its ideal for getting to know the city and exploring it. Breakfast is minimalistic but entirety sufficient : toast, cheese, salami, boiled egg and warm crossaunt with honey or jelly. Coffee is made justcas youd like it. Staff is friendly. Area, thouth not the cleanest abd nicest of piazzas, isnt scary and is rather quite at night. Rooms are equipped with private bathroom and shower and are comfy and just the right size. We had a great time there.

There is an elevator for 0.20€. The stairs are comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the owner was more than welcoming and helpful. He kept telling me about places to visit, gave me a map with all of the important places. BEST cappuccino in town!!! Seriously! They serve the best cappuccino at breakfast. I took room 203, it's not on the main street so I guess that's why it wasnt noisy. The place is nearby a train station, metro station, national museum and some other places because it's in the heart of Piazza Cavour which is the heart of the historical center. The nighbourhood isn't 'fancy' but there are many nice resturants where locals eat there, many clothes store with really good prices. It's a different atmosphere than those in luxurious places, you get to live like an Italian

We were quite happy with the B & B, nice chap very friendly at the check in, rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Basic continental breakfast but it was fine. So no problem with Conte ! about, but be very careful in the area's outside, we arrived late evening and went for a drink and bite to eat, and on our return probably 30 yards away I had a gold necklace ripped off the back of my neck. So be very careful if you are wearing any good jewellery.

This review has the only purpose of denigrating our work and our structure. It is not the first time that the lady publishes what he has written and every time it is enriched with further and unpublished details. This time she also specified the meters away from the structure (But maybe the lady walked with the meter in her purse?). We specify that B & B Conte Cavour is located in the heart of the historic center in a safe and secure area. In our many years of activity, nothing has happened to our guests, as has nothing happened to the lady who has posted this review.

The Best thing apart from the lovely decor of this B and B was the service. I stayed here not long after it opened or was renovated ( back in 2008) and we only stayed the one night and had to be up super early, yet we were still greeted with some form of breakfast, although we were hoping to get the fresh hot pastries that is part of The breakfast spread ( it is put out daily from 7am I think, but we had to leave at 6.30am). The room we stayed in had a french window ( it was the one in the pic with the red bed cover) and we kept it open all night (take mosquito spray or the electric disc things, perhaps they have them to use?). I don't recall there being air conditioning, perhaps you had to pay extra for the machine or such, that is often the case in Naples, but in September we were fine with the windows open. Yes there was some noise, but the place is on a very open spaced road, not so built up as the usual Neopolitan streets, so it wasn't that noisy. The bed was a real bed ( you may laugh but often b and b's in Naples have what I would call a camp bed or sofa bed or just a very basic thin mattress on some wire with stick legs type of temporary type bed). I found the bed comfortable, though it seemed new at the time, I would hope they have updated the Mattress by now! Although the rooms look quite romantic with their decor, I'm not sure I would come here as a romantic stay, perhaps if I was in my early 20's again, I might, but the rooms are very near each other, the whole place is very small and close together; if you are not the noisy type then yes it would be good for very young romance I guess ;-) Location : I would say that the area is quite safe and airy as its not in the thick of the historical centre or indeed the built up centre of the city; the metro is close by and as usual keep your wits about you when travelling the Metro in Naples (beware pickpocketiers !). I stayed also as a lone female and walked around fine during the day ( and I ended up in a very untouristic area watching football in a bar), however I am a city dweller and know Naples well, so I will say, always don some confidence when walking around Naples and you will be fine. I would definitely stay here again for a short stay ( 3 days) if the price was in the £45 price bracket or less for out of season. I wouldn't pay more because if I paid more I would want to be more central, so as to use less of the metro, but I would defo check it over as a place to stay ( I often spend time in Naples with relatives but sometimes it nice to get your own residence :-) I would say this is a perfect place for an overnight stay on your way home out of Naples or to other places in Campagnia as its closer fro getting to the airport, you would need a taxi though to get you and your luggage to the port to go on to the islands. You could easily get the train to Sorrento though.

I wish to point out that the B & B Conte Cavour is located in the historic center of Naples just a few meters from the National Archaeological Museum, the Duomo, the Naples Underground etc. Perhaps Madam who made the review has not been able to realize the centrality of the B & B CONTE CAVOUR .For a stay of 1 night only this review seems simplistic and superficial
