Beautifully located between the sites and monuments the most admired in Naples, close to the historic Piazza Garibaldi, the original structure was built many years ago. Recently it has been renovated (2013) now becoming a modern 4 star, outlined by a sleek design, conceived through the careful combination of natural materials.

The San Pietro **** highlights the elegance of a design hotel in the heart and central "heart" of the city. The spacious and renovated rooms and suites, all 35 defined in every detail have been designed to offer maximum comfort to guests.

You can easily reach the hotel from anywhere because it's close to metro stations, the central station, port and the airport.

The area around the hotel is very characteristic because the hotel is located in the very historical center of the city. We have a roof garden which has an amazing view on the dome of the Church of San Pietro ad Aram, one of the most ancient churches in Naples.

The hotel has a very central position in the historical center of Naples.

The rooms are all new and styled with the latest fashion and design trends and facilities.

We have a restaurant and a bar.

I chose Hotel San Pietro for the convenience of walking straight from the station to a hotel and then also having easy access to transport around the city. The area around the station isn’t that bad and I felt quite safe walking from the station to the hotel when I was out after dark. Just be careful crossing the road; crossing on a pedestrian crossing does not guarantee drivers in Naples will stop!! Once inside San Pietro there is a friendly greeting at reception (although I was unnerved when they insisted on keeping my passport for about half an hour rather than the usual quick check) and the hotel is surprisingly modern and quiet. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A good buffet breakfast was served in a bright and cheery room upstairs.

The single room in this hotel was excellent, larger than I expected with a great waterfall shower. The wifi was fast and good as well. The breakfast was really good too, better that I'd expected - plenty of food, buffet style. The hotel is a bit of a hike away from many of the main tourist attractions, at least a 20 minute walk but it's near a subway station and convenient location for the train station too.

Probably the most helpful and gregarious hosts we've had anywhere in Italy. The room was very comfortable, AC worked perfectly, and the bathroom was very clean. And being right across the street from Napoli Centrale was a huge bonus that enabled us to get in/out of Naples in the early hours by foot very easily. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is located in a very sketchy area with trash on the streets and a lack of safety at night. The rooms were very spartan and the WiFi was incredibly slow. The concierge will try to sell you overpriced tours and transportation if you try to ask for help. We asked the concierge to call a city cab to take us to Mt. Vesuvius when we knew the maximum charge for a round trip was set at 90 euros by city law. He pretended to call the city taxi service and then told us it would be 110 euros, when we told him that we knew the law set it at 90 euros for a both way trip the price magically came down. You are supposed to be able to trust your hotel concierge to help you avoid scams but it's obvious that the hotel staff here are complicit in attempting to scam you for your money.

As others have reflected this is a great little hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast. Rooftop bar was very nice too. Rooms very clean and nicely appointed. Hotel is located just off a main road and within 5 mins walk of Naples station where the transfers from the airport drop off. The area immediately surrounding the station is not the best but the walk into/back from Naples central to the hotel was fine (roughly 40mins) and no different from any major city.

The hotel is just off the main road down a bit of a grotty side street but most of Naples seems to be like this, once inside you are suprised by the Italian flair cool style and the warm welcome. Enzo was friendly & offered plenty of direction to improve getting about. The room was spacious and modern only lacking a kettle. Drinks & light refreshments were served on the roof terrace after 7pm.

I'll start with the good....it was very clean and the staff was amazing and then it all goes down hill from there. The a/c barley worked, the bed was uncomfortable and tiny and the worst part is this hotel is in a very shady area, we did not feel safe to walk around, gritty is the best way I can describe it. We have no idea how this got 4 stars. This hotel is located in the east part of Naples and the next day our private guide took us to west part where we found Hotel Excelsior-there was no comparison so we booked there and enjoy our last day in Naples before we went to the Amalfi Coast.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Hotel SAN PIETRO. We stayed for ten nights so we could tour the region, the hotel was perfectly situated for our needs with a two minute walk to the railway station. We would both like to thank all the staff we came into contact with at the hotel which made our stay even more memorable. Thank You.

Hotel very clean and in a great location. Staff very helpful providing restaurant recommendations. It is very close to train station, approximately 3 to 4 min walk.
Every night we sat on roof top terrace and had drinks and were provided snacks. Bartender is wonderful!

Yes, the room has a safe. It's an easy walk from the station - all flat and cannot get lost. Map your walk before you go. The road is paved, so your luggage will get a workout.

We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel and were charged €30 ! We found this extortionate and when we told the hotel staff they confirmed that we had been charged way over the odds !! We got them to phone us a taxi on the way back and agreed a fair of €15 before we got into the taxi, therefore I would say you need to make sure you agree a fair with the taxi driver before getting in. Anything between 15-20 euro is reasonable
