Excellent location near the port and shopping. Good sized room, nice view and setting. Breakfast basic but for the price suitable. Beds were a bit hard but not really a problem. I would certainly return.

The Bovio Suite was perfectly located approximately 10 minutes walk from the port for day trips, and approx 25 mins walk to The main Garibaldi train station. It was a 20 minute taxi ride to the airport, and a 15 minute walk to find the start of the hop-on-hop-off buses, which are near the port. The via Umberto is lined... More

Napoli as a place already had my heart before I came back to the city to stay at the Bovio Suite. On arriving me and my friend met Melina who checked us into a beautiful hotel in a really good location in the centre of Napoli. The hotel in is in a lovely building in a real good location close... This is not a five star Hotel. You get value for what you pay. Good Breakfast, not bacon and eggs or hash browns with pancakes. Location is great. Charming staff, when they are there. I have no complaints. Room clean, overlooked the busy roundabout. Fascinating watching the chaos of cars, scooters buses and pedestrians. I had five days, no problems.... More

Went to this B&B (and it is a B&B, not a hotel) after seeing it had reasonable ratings on TripAdvisor. The question is, why? The room we had was noisy, tired, badly equipped and with no air conditioning (it had a wall unit but no way of turning it on!) The bathroom was unbelievably smelly and the shower dark and... More

Take the metro to Universita. there is a statue in the middle of the square. Directly behind it there is a huge double wooden door. The bovio suite is on the 4th floor and there is an intercom thing on the right hand side. The hotel is more like a B&B, breakfast is basic and bedroom adequate. take earplugs as... More

As a couple we have to be on the same page for places to stay- this was my kind of place in an elegant old building, quirky, intimate, but for my partner the lack of professional staff- no security or door person at night, steps to the elevator, smoking on premises and worn dated furnishings were not up to par.... Took us 30 minutes to find this hotel (it was night time) when we were within 50 metres of it all the time. Even some locals didn't know where it was. Room was ok but breakfast a bit limited. Good to access underground train and ferries to Capri. Enjoyed Naples, it has a lot more to offer than I thought.... More

The hotel is situated in one of the best locations in Naples (which is really something to be careful about). You can walk alone even at night. It is close to Via Toledo and other places to visit and also right next to bus and metro stations and easily reachable from the port and the train station. Rooms (and bathrooms)... More
