we stayed august 2015.. Staff were very courteous and they upgraded our room for free as we were honeymooners! and a bottle of wine when we departed! Very nice surprise .. The bed was a nice large king size.. the only negative were that our first room was located directly in front of reception - so we heard every conversation,... More

Great location, very atmospheric building, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. The best thing about this place, though, is the lovely Tomas - made our few days in this wonderful city especially memorable with his insights, recommendations and advice.

The staff were excellent. Very informative about where to go and what to see. Fabulous pizzeria recommendation too. Hotel location was perfect and very close to the Duomo, lots of shops, cafes etc. The room was a good size. Very clean with plenty of toiletries. Bathroom was an excellent size with a large shower. We opted for a superior room... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night while visiting Naples. The hotel is located in walking distance from all the major sites. The hotel is located on the first floor of a typical, older Naples building. It is served by a small, old elevator ... if you can, it's easier simply to walk up. Front desk staff is very... More

Due to some of the previous reviews of this hotel and Naples in general my expectations were about average. However the staff (Tomas, Ivan and Giuseppe) made our stay delightful. Very helpful with what we could see and do during our short 2 day stay. Don't be turned off by the less than stellar neighborhood, the charm is within the... More

Hotel des Artistes is a delightful, peaceful hotel, located in a thriving central area of Naples. I found the staff very kind and helpful, brimming with useful information. Apart from readily recommending great restaurants and cafes, it was their cultural knowledge of Naples that helped contribute to my enjoyment and appreciation of this fascinating city. For example, I wanted to... More

We've got a suite for the price of the double room and it was great. The rooms are amazing. The breakfast was OK. Position in the historical city is an advantage. With metro for 1 EUR you get in 5 min to Toledo station, which is a must. Have a look in Youtube. From there in 15-20 min walk to... More

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is situated in the historical centre. It's on a Main Street but we did not have any problems with noise. We were upgraded to a different suite. Loved the huge bed and the opulent decor! We required a late check out which the staff arranged no problem for a small fee. Breakfast is... More

I'm not sure what i expected from this hotel but it wasn't what I found when I arrived! The rooms were comfortable but with bizarre furnishings and art work, part French boudoir, part Venetian palace, part dodgy holiday apartment, part my grandmas living room... Staff were invariably friendly, helpful and courteous. The area felt safe-ish for Naples, and the breakfast... More

Let me preface by saying the staff at this hotel are fantastic: helpful, knowledgable and friendly. However, I am perplexed by the rave reviews on here for this hotel. It's kind of ok but not great. It's in a good location, just by the best street for pizza, Via dei Tribunali, but it is a very strange hotel. Our room... More
