While passing through Naples, we spent one night at the Costantinopoli 104. It was hard to find, but once we got there, we loved it. It's in a gated compound, and it's truly a haven after dealing with the noise and traffic of Naples. The hotel is beautiful, with its stained glass window and art on the walls. Our room... More

The hotel was ok and served a purpose for the night. The shower wasn't particularly clean. The sheets threadbare and one of the lights in the bathrooms didn't work. Overall the place felt tired. I wouldn't necessarily stay here again (or in Naples for that matter!).

We had driven from Scotland, in a soft top Mercedes, en route to Sicily, and this was the most worrying part, with Naples' reputation for lawlessness preceding it. We arrived in a thunderstorm, and on entering the city there was a ?dead man in the middle of the road after a motorcycle accident and then a man running across the... More

We just returned from traveling Southern Italy with our 19 year old niece and selected this hotel through reading reviews here. This hotel is in a great location - hidden behind a gate where you are buzzed in for security. Once through the gate, you walk through a charming courtyard and the hotel is a welcome site. We had a... More

Location is perfect for exploring the old historic centre of Naples. Many of the key artistic attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is charmingly quirky. Thanks to previous reviews we were prepared for the unconventional entry through two electonically controlled gates and the walk across a courtyard. Also it is situated on a one-way street making access from a... More

I recently stayed at this hotel on business. Great central location and proximity to bars and restaurant for an old Napoli flavour. Security is good as has been mentioned in other reviews, as you need to be buzzed in. This is because the hotel is within the walls of an ancient castle (I think!). The building is charming with its... More

This was a rather unexpected and very frustrating experience with both the hotel and Hotels.com. We booked through Hotels.com and the confirmation clearly stated a free cancellation within a certain date. Our trip plans changed and we cancelled through Hotels.com prior to the date indicated so that there would not be a penalty. On the day of the cancellation the... More

We had a junior suite with a small terasse. Very nice. On two floors. The garden is nice. A little bit difficult to find: just ring the bell on the street then they will guide you. Perfect location on Plaza Bellini when so much to see and many restaurants to choose from. The breakfast was delicious too.

In the heart of Naples, the Costantinopoli 104 not only preserves a piece of its historical charm ( the beautiful stained-glass window; the piperno stone entrance of the garden), i have my fondness for its lovely neighbourhood - a quick stroll from Dante metro station to bustling street filled with bookstores at Via Port'Alba stretching towards Conservatorio di Musica di... Very much enjoyed our stay and felt we couldn't have chosen a better place. The hotel is set back from the street in a courtyard behind a large iron gate, so feels very secure and quiet in what is otherwise the liveliest part of Naples, within short distance of the Archaeological Museum as well as all the shops and bars...
