At 60 a night our expectations were pretty low. And we were still dissapointed. We just stopped here for a few hour layover between Amalfi and catching the plane. All we really wanted was a place to nap and shower before a very early flight. Room 401 overlooks the street. It may have been OK but the shower was GROSS...

The room was spacious and clean with a nice view over one of Napels busiest streets. The bathroom was nice and clean, long wait for hot water 5room on the 5th floor) but there was enough for everybody. Breakfast is more elaborate than you would expect from a hotel in the south of Italy and very good.

The smell of damp hits you as you walk in, however our room was OK as a base, to sleep in, quickly shower and eat breakfast. Great coffee. Shower was a 'stand in the bath with a curtain' set up - bath needed re sealing desperately, mouldy groat. Cleaning lady was great and refreshed towels daily. Bed comfy, but you...

The location of the hotel was not bad. It is a 10 minute walk to the station and the bus stop is near, that takes you straight to the plaza where the tourist attractions are (r2 bus). The bus ticket is only 1 euro although everyone doesn't seem to have one so we jumped on for free most of the...

We were lucky enough to be given the suite at the top of the hotel, beautifully appointed, with direct access from the lift and a spacious, flower bedecked balcony cum terrace with a hot tub -though this was not functioning at the time [ we visited in April]. Unfortunately we had only one night here, I could have stayed far...

What a lucky find right in the middle of Naples so easy access to everything ,it was a typical small Italian hotel a bit dated but charming we had a suite on the top floor with its own lift! patio with stunning views overlooking Mt Vesuvius. Most of the staff had good English and very pleasant too, would definitely recommend...

Maybe this hotel doesn't deserve for 4*, but for its price it was everything we needed. There is good localization near the train station and close to the main street, so in the night it's safe there, the room wasn't big, but it was clean and nice, the breakfast was really good with good coffee (buffet with sweet and salty...

...this is Naples. Unfortunately, Naples is far from the cleanest city in Italy. This hotel is no exception. The room we got was all right: reasonable size, with air conditioning (vital in the August heat wave!), a television, free wifi, and a little balcony overlooking the newspaper kiosk and main road. The location is great. We reached Naples centre from...

Paint peeling in room and bathroom, dirty bathroom, floor literally falling apart, breakfast is terrible and limited, no wifi in room - I could go on for long on why this hotel should be extensively renovated before the next guest checks in. They have 4 stars outside the hotel. Surely that is a joke.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked because we wanted to be near the station in order to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum, however the hotel isn't particularly close to the station. On arrival we were shown to a room which hadn't been cleaned and the person in reception seemed surprised and put out that we wanted a...
