Terrible hotel. The rooms was disgustingly dirty and extremely tiny. The beds are hard. Pillows was flat. Blanket was itchy. I had an allergic reaction from the molds. Breakfast is very basic. Elevator can only fit 2 people. If you have a luggage, 2 people would not fit.
We arrived at this Hotel after spending 5 nights at a 4 Star Hotel on Ischia. We Checked in on the 13th September 2019 . On arrival the Receptionist was extremely creepy and my wife said if she was on her own she would have found a different Hotel. We checked into our room 201 which was fairly small but had nice curtains and bed linen and the bed was comfortable and sheets were clean as were the towels. We had a small balcony which was quite nice to watch the madness of Naples life go by. The Bathroom well all around the sink and bath there was mould , the shower curtain was dirty and on the first time we did a poo the toilet blocked up , we had to ask several times for someone to sort it ( the Receptionist this time was a young guy who was trying to help despite his English was not good ) not his fault as our Italian is poor. There was no way we were going to have a shower despite the 30c temperature , we just washed in the basin as best we could. We had breakfast included , not worth it as it was very poor , hardly any selection for a so called 4 star Hotel. Sorry but we were so glad when our 2 nights were over. The only advantage to staying here was ease of bus to sights , and best of all the First pizza place to open in Naples was just round the corner , and the Pizza Margherita was fantastic.…
Lets say that you get what you pay for... Booked through hotwire for one night and paid $48 for the night and advertised as a 4 star. The hotel is in an ok area during the day but at night it seems not so safe. The hotel itself is dated, seems unclean and not safe but ok if only for one night and you are not planning to spend time at the hotel. Would not recommend for female travelers alone.
It was our first family holiday abroad. It was made more special by getting the penthouse with lovely patio balcony, juccuzi and outside shower. With Very attentive staff which helps if you do not speak Italian . Thank you Napoli a great place to visit 🤗
This hotel is the perfect location if you are wanting to be close to naples train station and the city centre. The staff are so friendly and really make you feel at home! The bedrooms are small but really authentic and super clean! Breakfast is provided and it's a 24 hour reception! The owner made us feel so comfortable and we would 100 percent come back!!!! It's a real authentic hotel in the heart of naples and it's also 4 mins walk from the famous pizzeria. I would note that on the website it states there is a roof top Terrance but this isn't the case! Apart from this minor detail are trip was wonderful!!!!!
The air conditioning did not work (summer in Napoli, not good!). Staff very rude and unable to solve problems. Various things were broken in my room, bed very hard and very old. Would not recommend it.
Having read the reviews before booking I knew what to expect, so Hotel Suite Esedra didn't disappoint. The staff was very friendly and my room was cleaned and made up every day. The location of the hotel is very central and I'll definitively return here when I go back to Naples. Also, they have proper pillows! Not the floppy ones you can/ have to fold double in order to elevate your head off the mattress. Certainly benefited my night's rest!
It's very good location of the hotel, everything is very close. Cafes, pharmacies, shops are nearby. For those who want to walk within walking distance there is a park. The staff adequately copes with their tasks. The room is spacious, clean and with a beautiful view of the city. My conclusion - we will book here more.
We stayed here (2 female friends) for 1 night in Naples in August 2018. We had 4 nights in Sorrento then came to Naples for the last night to be closer to the airport. We arrived by train to Piazza Garibaldi and walked for 10 mins to the hotel. Its literally just off the high street. I'd say its an unsavoury part of Naples and we felt quite intimidated by its surroundings. A family with a dog had set up a stall just in front of the hotel and there were 5 local men sat on chairs outside the hotel when we arrived. The staff were friendly, we checked in early and they recommended where to get a bus tour. In the evening we walked about 5 mins to a local restaurant and were approached by a man on 2 separate occasions. A man also wound down his car window and made rude suggestions. I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel for families or single females. The room was small but adequate with a safe, tv (but no remote so didn't use it) a wardrobe and a small bathroom. The shower could do with an upgrade but otherwise was satisfactory. We were leaving at 4am so didn't have breakfast. Even at 4am there were people selling on the street corners. If the hotel was in a nicer area I would still only rate it 3 star. …
In my experience hotels in Naples are very expensive, so a night at this sweet little hotel was a steal at £45 for a night. As it’s at the lower end of the budget (in Naples) I wasn’t expecting it to be particulary nice or anything, but was pleasantly surprised. It’s very sweet and has a lot of character, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic! The bed was comfortable enough, and the room was clean - what more can you want? The street outside is noisy but that’s no fault of the hotel, and it’s in such a great central location that OF COURSE it will be a little bit noisy, this isn’t something to complain about! I missed the breakfast as I’d had a late night but I’m looking forward to having it next time I stay, as I definitely intend on returning.
