The hotel was very nice and classy, very friendly hotel staff. We were leaving for the airport very early, so we would miss breakfast, and they prepared us breakfast bags to go. They have deals with taxi to/from train station and airport. Beautiful gated area with gardens to walk around, felt very safe. They have a very nice bar and... More

The views from my balcony of the sunrises/sunsets over the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius will not soon leave my memories of Villa Capodimonte. The staff was very polite and attentive (good-naturedly accepting my feeble attempts at speaking Italian), the hotel restaurant food was excellent (as was it everywhere I ate in Naples), the room was large and well-appointed,... Very rude staff! Keeps counting everything from people to towels. We wanted 6 towels but they only put 5 despite telling them. First night only 2 towels were provided for a family room that sleeps 5-6 people. No blankets provided. Mattresses were just ok, more on the hard side. Beware!!!! It's in the middle of Slums, very unsafe and ghetto... More

A place up to montane clouse to the castle capodimonte . A great view you see the city from home like post card. Welcoming people. Very huge rooms . Good value . Napoli is one of my favourite cities. Pizzas there is the only one in world. Must go to see vulcano and capri . Little bit expensive in centre... More

The hotel is great value for the price however the location is a little far out of the centre. It's not far in a taxi (approx 10-15mins) but we prefer to walk most places. Breakfast is typical of Italy and plentiful. Staff were helpful and spoke english well. We discovered only later after checking out that a panel on the... More

The hotel is located on top of Capodimonte in a residential area. Driving up is CRAZY 5' wide car on a 4' wide road. The hotel is beautiful with great views of The Bay of Naples. The high side of out stay was the dinners we had. First night we went to the bar and were met by Marco, our... More

We so enjoyed the Culture Hotel's garden and view of Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples from the rooftop. It was a comfortable hotel with a generous breakfast. The office manager Stefano La Pira went out of his way to make our visit to Naples very enjoyable. He arranged for us a fascinating tour of Pompeii. I was afraid... More

I'll get the bad stuff out of the way first. -One of the male front desk workers was problematic, partly because of poor English and partly because of his personal attitude. -I didn't particularly care for having to get new wifi passwords every 2-3 days. -If you are driving, the road up to the hotel is about as bad as... We enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Capodimonte. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room on 4th floor was delightful, huge comfortable beds, great shower, mini bar. Very clean. Nice simple breakfast - very Italian. The location of the Hotel is a taxi drive away from the City, we walked it once but it's a long way. Part of... More

Staying in Villa Capodimonte, Naples for three nights was part of two weeks holiday in Italy with my girlfriend driving between different cities in Italy. To reach the hotel late in the evening was quite a challenge, due to driving up hill for about 2 Km in extremely narrow side roads packed with parked cars both sides. Make sure that... More
