Ramada Naples is the perfect location to visit easily and relaxed the city of Naples and its surroundings within the region Campania. The hotel is situated in the historical centre of Naples at only 200 mt from the main Railway Station and from the Metro of Garibaldi Square. The “circumvesuviana” , train that reaches Pompeii, Ercolano and Sorrento is just in front of the hotel and the main harbour with boats and ferries to Capri and Ischia is at 800mts. Ramada Naples welcomes you in elegant and functional spaces; 152 rooms, all double bedded and spacious in American style, are air conditioned and soundproof with cable TV, wi-fi connection, safe, working desk and mini bar. Standard, Superior Room and Junior Suite are differently equipped in order to satisfy all accommodation requests. Ramada Naples awaits its guests with an intimate and cozy restaurant, where Mediterranean cuisine, as well as a more modern Neapolitan kitchen full of fantasy and estrus are performed. Solarium, lecture room, internet point, free wi-fi area and a spacious garage enrich the offer.

Hotel is dated and tired in need of update. Furniture is worn. Pealing wallpaper bathroom fixtures old and corroded When it rains the elevator leaked water. Breakfast was average as was the service. I would not stay again

We stayed here for just 2 nights and thankfully that was all. Firstly, the area is very convenient for the train station being only a 5 minute walk away. That being said, the area is rife with pick pockets and having suitcases and backpacks etc if travelling as a family you'll stand out like a sore thumb to be a potential target travelling. Especially around the station. At night time, the area is so run down that you just don't feel safe in the streets. Litter lines the streets and groups congregate in the side streets for no real reason. Nothing of any substance to do around the area. The reputation for petty crime is also extremely high in the area which doesn't help that feeling. I left my family in the safety of the hotel room so I could go out to get dinner for us on the first night. The next night we stayed in and didn't venture out. The staff were all very pleasant. We spent some time in the bar which had a selection of good beers and the usual spirits and cocktails. The hotel reception gives a false impression of the quality of the hotel. The standard as walking in is that of a 4* hotel. After that, I would put it at 2-3* at the most. The decor is extremely dated. The carpets down the hall are stained and filthy. Out room carpet is faded and worn in and wallpaper starting to peel off the walls. The bathroom was nice with decent pressure and warmth. The room had a kettle and a mini fridge. As we have experienced with other places in Italy, there was no iron or ironing board in the room which still surprises me. The beds were hard as rock. Would not tell the difference with sleeping on the bed or on the hard floor. Both nights I had a terrible sleep. The windows were double glazed so didn't get any outside noise, but the views were non existing. One window was just a wall, and out other window was to the rubbish bins, so not pleasant to look at. Severe updating is needed on the premises. As mentioned before, the staff were nice and no problems here. Overall I would not recommend staying here unless it's literally just a 1 night, in dire need of a bed situation. Horrid, unsafe area. Do not recommend.

We spent 6 nights at the Ramada Naples and there were many positives! Lovely reception and restaurant, wonderful choice of breakfast. Lots of fluffy towels, excellent air con, a clean room and friendly helpful staff. However, the room needed a lick of paint and new carpet and curtains. It was very tired and unfashionable. Clean but needs updating . Going to Sorrento by ferry was wonderful, the old town and the park on top of the hill, reached by the Funicular railway. Be really careful with your belongings, we have done many city breaks with no problems but my partner was pick- pocketed in Naples , we had travel insurance but getting a police report was tricky as the Italian Police are not very helpful. I would recommend the hotel and the city....you can get pick - pocketed any where!!!!

I was travelling through Naples on my way to the Amalfi coast , and, since my flight was getting there late at night I decided to book a room at the Naples Ramada, which is conveniently located near the train station. I used a booking platform which showed a single night price for one person of 123 US$. The price stated was “all included”. After booking the room and paying with my credit card online, I received a debit confirmation from my bank - to my astonishment I had been charged an additional *56US$*!! I contacted the Ramada immediately and my complaint was quickly dismissed by the person in charge of the Front Desk who offered to “ offer a cup of coffee tomorrow morning when you wake up at our hotel”!! They maintained it was the original booking site that was at fault- but that site informed me they had a sub contractor for these bookings. I spent 30 mins on an overseas call to be flatly informed those were the rates, and that they “ appear on the site”! Luckily I had screenshots proving the opposite. No refund was offered by either the initial site nor by the subcontractor, let alone by the Ramada Hotel. However, what made me furious was the reception employee the following morning- not only was I 10 mins late for breakfast, so was charged the coffee I asked for- but they had the cheek to request payment of the City fee! This, after charging a room 1/3 *more* than the indicated price - only for fees! The city fee is a small amount, and it’s due - I would have gladly complied- but not under *these* circumstances! Beware of additional costs if not travelling with a group - as those appear * nowhere* - and they will not refund them!

This year - I made a move to try some smaller brands as I feel that many of the larger brands have discounted their points. Thus, I joined Wyndham and stayed for a total of 6 rooms in Cusco in March and had a very good experience. Unfortunately, not the case with this property. We booked 3 rooms using a combination of $$ and points and when we arrived to check in at 3pm , they could only find 2 rooms in our reservation and they said that they were sold out. After we produce documentation they "found" an extra room and we booked rooms 512, 310 and 312 for a Saturday night in July. When we arrived at our rooms they were unbearably hot and as we arrived at 3pm and didnt leave for dinner until 7pm, two of the rooms cooled down and one did not. As we had an extra key, we were able to leave it in the electrical outlet and hope that by the time we returned it would have cooled off. It was between 29 and 32 Celsius. It did not and as we knew that there were no other rooms , we decided to try to go to sleep. At 2am when I could not sleep i went to Danilo to see if they had any fans to make this more comfortable but he said that they didnt have any. When checking out at 6am, I explained that I had not slept and wanted to get one of the rooms refunded. He indicated the Giuseppe Dispenza would be calling me or emailing me to resolve. After a week of me trying to get ahold of him as he didn't call me, I finally got ahold of him and he offered to discount one of my rooms by 25%. As I said that was unacceptable, he said that he would talk to his boss who offered nothing more. At this temperature this room was unhabitable. I have been to over 40 countries and I am very familiar with what is acceptable room temperatures and dont think that Giuseppe should undermind what I believe to be an acceptable temperature. I followed up with Wyndham Rewards today and they said that it would be a week before anyone gets back to me. I have found several other hotel brands during the past couple of years and Wyndham is not one of them.

The staff do well under difficult conditions. Out of the 2 rooms we had the window sill was not attached, there was wallpaper hanging down behind the curtains, the cover to the fan was cracked and dangerous and when you pulled on it it fell off exposing bare wires, there was also bare wires showing on a metal table lamp and the lamp flickerd. Also bording on the side of the wall was falling off. All in all it wasn't to bad an experience but it does need a maintance man.

Under renovation! The outside of the building is covered in scaffolding. Parts of the interior have been renovated but most have not. We are told that the restaurant is closed during the work but the breakfast buffet is open. Nothing on the hotel website about the ongoing renovation. Plus side - mostly quiet and large parking garage.
