This B&B is very well located, it is very comfortable, and the hostess Celina is super nice, and friendly, she gave us great recommendations about Naples. We really had a great time and felt at home. The views of the city and the sea are amazing. I highly recommend it. It is definitively one of my favourites B&B.

Located in the chic Chiaia district this quiet and light-flooded B&B offers stunning views of the city and the Gulf. Via Toledo, Molo Beverello (ferries to the islands), Palazzo Reale and the world-renowned Teatro di San Carlos are in walking distance. High-end fashion shopping, great restaurants, bars, cafeterias and the famous bookstore Feltrinelli are around the corner. Besides the two bedrooms there is a well equipped kitchen and a communal room with a TV and a hammock. The owners are very accommodating. Georgio is a knowledgable tour guide and also arranges great photo walks in the city. In fact I first booked the photo walk and then the B&B.

We stayed here for several days in 2014 - we had booked another apartment in Naples in the historic center that did not work out (not the owner's fault, and he and his wife arranged for our stay at B&B Casamone). What might have been a bad experience (unexpected problems with the apartment we booked) turned out to be a stroke of luck. This is a fantastic location and and a very nice two bedroom apartment operated as a B&B by the owner, who lives in the apartment below. The building is very nice and well located in a good neighborhood with an excellent cafe in the street below and good access to public transportation. Each bedroom has its own terrazzo and separate bath with a shared kitchen. While we were there, two other couples, one with children, stayed in the apartment, and we enjoyed meeting them and never felt crowded. The owners provided coffee and excellent pastry every morning on the terrazzo, and are very easy to get along with and helpful. We would definitely recommend this B&B, we will check it when (not if) we return to Naples, and if it were available and we were in a large enough group, we'd rent both rooms.

We visited Napoli in Sep 2014. BB Casa Mone is on the terrace of a building in Chiaia, that seems to have been originally connected to part of an old church in the lower floors. A glance at the dome and neighbourhood terraces from the balcony transports you to old style Napoli, a hint of the sea on one side and the rising coast on the other. The interiors are quaint - some bright and dark colours that may or may not go down well with everyone, but we were travelling with children so it was all about fun - right from the entry up a flight of stairs, the hammock in the common living space, to the cosy rooms which continued on to the terraces. We had the whole apartment, perfect for our family of four: two bedrooms (one bathroom outside and one ensuite). The kitchen was in the common area with a small table for four, well equipped with the regulars: a refrigerator, cooking gas, oven and utensils that you may need. The rooms were perfect for a family with kids - clean and comfortable - not too fancy (We have really on the go and climbing up everything kind of kids (3 and 6 yrs old), so elegant decore is a pain. Keeping the kids off everything because the crystal or glass or fragile something or the other may shatter is simply not a fun holiday for them and not worth it for us). Celine welcomed us the evening we reached and almost immediately made us feel at home. Georgia was there every morning to help us with breakfast. It was usually patisserie of some kind which the kids and I absolutely loved, a cute old style coffee maker, and the regulars - milk, juice, yogurt. (Not so great for my husband - who claims that too much sugar makes him dizzy) so would suggest you may need to ask for an alternative beforehand if you need to avoid the sugar at breakfast! Celine and Georgio were very kind and helpful throughout our stay - while also careful to not be too intrusive. We used the kitchen like it was our own and they were most hospitable about it all. These things can ofcourse be culture dependant, but they were just perfect for us. They were very caring and understanding about our kids - which meant a lot to us. We were there for five days, so they helped us out with our travel planning too. Celine even invited our kids for playtime one afternoon with their children which was a magical break for us, a great time for the children, and that really goes way beyond what you can expect from a B&B! It really felt like being at home with very friendly neighbours. My kids still remember their Napoli trip very fondly and also miss the whole family including their new friends Ilu, Jaru and their two cats!
