I have visited this place for 9 years ago and i had great memories of it. It is much changed. Not the rooms or the splendid terrace, but personnel. I have spent 50-80 nights on hotel per year and have done som for 15 years. I seldom write review, but this deserves one as it stands out negatively. Checkin - no welcoming. take my passpart and credit card and "here is your key". I pause to show i have some questions. an irritated "yes". "do you serve breakfast?" ANswer "i dont know". " can you find out i paid for it". she said she does it later. there was no people behind me. second question. Can you book a taxi for me for tomorrow, "No, i am busy, remind me tomorrow". Perhaps it you wrote it up you can do it when you have time". Silence. CAme down later to ask about changing the room. Queue at reception desk, and Sara, the same receptionist as before, was on the phone. She was the only staff and 25 min later she was finished, but most had left by then. She explained that it was her manager that had called and therefore had no time for customers, and asked rather impolitely "what do you want now". Im stunned. Going forward we avoided reception to ask any questions. Talked to the manager next day, whoi had a normal behaviour and told me to write a Review about it. There are a lot of smaller Things like no glasses, not even plastic cups on the room, slippers, no bathrobe, You cleared your own breakfast table after a while as no one on sight and no other tables available. Some bad hotels ignore you but this was exceptional as it was hostile behaviour. Shame on such a grand hotel. I asked about change of rooms…
I spent 1 night there during my business trip in Napoli. A very nice luxury place, with a great view (depending the room you get) . A bit far from the city center but worth all the same due to the nice restaurants reachable by foot along the promenade!! Unfortunately 30 euros the breakfast buffet was exaggerated!!!
Good service, staff is well trained. Room very big with big bathroom and big king size bed. Amazing breakfast very good quality of food. We have a city view room because we went there over Christmas and all the other sea view room were booked but our stay was good
The hotel is ideally located overlooking the golf of Naples. Very classy with beautiful and elegant decoration. An upgrade was more than welcome since besides the nice and comfortable room, I had a breathtaking view to Vesuvios.
Amazing location. Most amazing view in Naples. The staff is excellent. The rooms are huge and decorated in an exquisite Venetian style. Great wifi speed. Only small, very small, criticisms are: not enough english tv channels (not what you come to naples for) and the rooms have super thin walls so when the maids were cleaning the nearby rooms all you can hear is furniture being dragged across the floor.
