Simply amazing how refined this hotel is. Staff, location, rooms, food, view; close to perfection. Everything just seems to fit perfectly. The atmosphere in the hotel is just splendid. Highly recommended!

Where do I begin. I booked up a Queen sea view suite which upon arrival was nice.. just nice. It was relatively small as far as rooms go and had a small terrace. The USB ports didn’t work there were 3. The jets from the jacuzzi bath chucked out black gunk upon first use. Did not expect this from a 5 star hotel. Then as of covid all sauna and spa facilities were closed, not mentioned on the website when we booked. So I had a grumble.... we got upgraded. The room was good, everything seemed to work but not worth the €700 a night fee they would regularly charge. Even if it did have two terraces. The reception staff were very helpful in all of this and that is probably one of the few positives. We thought ok, the pool is open we will book and have a swim in the afternoon as it was raining very hard outside...... no. The pool was closed due to rain getting in? It’s an indoor pool. So needless to say we did not get our swim. What was closed on our stay, everything including the restaurant. Whether because of covid or broken. We had it all. Look, the views are great and it is clearly an old hotel. But 5* and luxury? No.... I would not stay here again. Staff good, hotel poor. Although it is aesthetically pleasing that was about all it had going for itself. Overpriced hotel, food and drinks. Not luxurious, if you want luxury go to Dubai.

Part of the seafront in Naples has been pedestrianised and this hotel is on that part overlooking the Castel d’ovo . Naples is a bustling city famous for not always the best reasons. The hotel keeps you insulated from all of your worries, but real Naples is only a street away. A taxi rank is close by. Room prices are almost reasonable given the location and the inclusive breakfast on the terrace is first class. Dinner can be expensive unless you are very careful but as in most good Italian restaurants they are happy to split dishes which is often what we do. Again the views from the restaurant are world class even at at night.

This traditional palace is in a fantastic position offering great views from most of the rooms. Luxurious rooms nicely decorated and furnished. Same applies for the restaurant and roof-top bar. Service staff at the level of a five star hotel.
