I had a four night solo stay at this lovely hotel.
It's location is spot on, fairly quick taxi ride from the airport and near the Metro, bus stops ( I never used these) and the funicular.
The hotel is tucked away through a alcove and you take the lift . Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist, as I was early my room wasn't ready but they looked after my suitcase so I could go and enjoy the terrace and surrounding area.
Once I got my key, I was shown around. My room was gorgeous, so pretty and spacious. It had everything I needed including a complimentary can of flavoured water and toiletries. It had a well stocked mini bar, a bit expensive but aren't they all ? and tea/coffee sachets but no milk, but I asked at reception and was given some, and unfortunately they never got replenished but again I just asked reception for more tea bags, but nothing major and it certainly didn't take anything away from this lovely hotel.
My bed was very comfortable and the shower was great too, and the dressing gown and slippers provided were really nice quality. My room and the hotel were very clean and all staff members friendly and polite.
Breakfast was mainly continental but very nice and the morning server was attentive, everything was good quality. The roof terrace was a little quiet haven from the bustling city below and had lovely views, although there is no bar, you could ask reception for a drink and they would bring it to you. The only thing that would improve the terrace would be cushions on the seating are sofas and chairs.
The hotel is boutique so not many rooms and I found it pretty quiet with no outside noise.
I walked to all the major attractions quiet easily and there's plenty of restaurants and cafés around.
My first time in Naples and it's an amazing city, I loved it and I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
Great experience.

I wanted to stay in a quality hotel in a good safe location and with easy access to the main places of interest. La Ciliegina Lifestyle suited my requirements perfectly. The location is excellent - easy walking distance to the main shopping area, metro station, airport bus stop and port (for ferries to the islands). There are many good restaurants nearby (especially recommend Osteria da Antonio, Via Depretis 143). I stayed in the smallest room in the hotel, which suited me as a solo guest, but everything needed was provided and to a high standard. For breakfast the choice, quality and presentation were excellent. The hotel service was faultless. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful and would know or find out any information requested (special thanks to Laura).
I had originally booked to stay in October 2020, but had to postpone owing to Covid restrictions. The hotel kindly provided me with a voucher for a future stay. although it was under no obligation to do this.

La Ciliegina hotel is perfectly located steps away from the Municipio Line 1 metro stop. It's a 5 minute walk to Molo Beverello port for hydrofoils to the islands in the Bay of Naples. Although it's only a 2 minute walk in the other direction to Via Toledo shopping and restaurants, the hotel's immediate neighborhood is very quiet. I would absolutely return here, but I would not book the single "short deluxe" room again. I love small single rooms but the short deluxe was the first one I encountered that was too small. There was no place to put my lone piece of luggage, a carry-on size backpack. The door to the room was a sliding door which required one to push a button at the exact moment you yanked on the door with the other hand. This usually took several tries. But the main reason why I would never book this room again was a strange, intermittent noise that required me to wear earplugs in order to sleep. Finally, I note that the two times I asked the front desk for a restaurant recommendation, I was just told to go wander in the Quartieri Spagnoli. When I was finally given a name of a pizza restaurant, I was told to use my phone to find it. The capuccino at breakfast was excellent. The roof terrace was lovely but the weather did not cooperate during my stay. The hot tub was covered and not in service during my time there. Despite my problems with the single room, I would not hesitate to stay again because of the hotel's excellent location.

My wife and I booked 3 nights with the hotel for April 2020 (from Australia as part of a month in southern Italy) for a price that did not permit change or cancellation. However, because of COVID-19, the hotel has kindly (and without argument) agreed to allow us to retain the booking until May 2021. We are grateful that the hotel has taken this approach because we recognise that it had no legal obligation to do do. We recognise also the hotel industry is hurting at the present time. We will, therefore, be staying at the hotel in May 2021 and are looking forward to doing so.

This lovely hotel in Naples was centrally located to several museums, shops, the old city of Naples, and delicious restaurants. While the location was at first hard to find because we had to walk into a small alley (Naples street), there was a sign directing us into another small alley on the left toward the elevator. Once we figured this out, the elevator took us to the third floor of our hotel. The concierge at the desk (there were male and female at different times) spoke English and were receptive to teaching me Italian phrases as well. They were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small, only 14 rooms which meant that we were usually alone for the wonderful breakfast of meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, granola, scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon - a plentiful amount to get one started for a vigorous day of sightseeing. The lady in the breakfast also spoke English but was wonderful to me when I wanted the caffe Americano coffee after the third day. I can only take one expresso because it is so very strong! We did visit the rooftop garden on a late beautiful afternoon to see the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius, the sleeping giant. Just sitting up there to enjoy our glasses of wine was very relaxing. Our room was beautifully decorated in Italian marble and complete with ample towels and toiletries. We would definitely recommend this hotel and come back on a return visit to Naples! Ciao!

The major advantage of this small hotel is its location in the Principio district that is within walking distance of the major attractions and great restaurants. The staff are incredibly helpful, providing, for instance, recommendations for local restaurants. The room is modern and stylish. The breakfast provided will set up you up for a day exploring Naples. The small roof terrace is a real suntrap in the spring and summer

I was nervous that this wouldn't be a good experience. La Ciliegina hotel is located steps away from the Piazza Municipio and is a five-minute walk to the port. It is centrally located, being only two minutes from Via Toledo. Despite the bustle below, the room was deathly quiet and about as beautiful as you can expect in the heart of the city!

La Ciliegina's entrance is a little tucked away and you take an elevator up to the lobby (a new experience for me, but the other hotel in Naples was the same). From that point, they deliver on everything promised: it is impeccably clean, modern, and comfortable.

Although we had great weather, we didn't get the chance to spend much time on the terrace, but it was a nice touch.

If you are looking for a hotel with a central location and easy access to transit options, this is your place.

Recommended!

After two years of waiting we were very excited to finally go to Naples and were certainly not disappointed. I highly recommend this hotel, the staff have been incredibly helpful since we originally made our booking in early 2020 and allowed us to move it to this year even though they were under no obligation to do so. The welcome we received was great, the hotel is beautiful and our rooms were very comfortable, particularly the bed, the location is also great with lots of excellent restaurants and bars nearby. We were lucky in that the weather allowed us to enjoy breakfast in the upper outdoor area - a tip though, don't leave food unattended because a seagull will help himself to it!

Everything about this hotel was fabulous!
The location was great for exploring Naples as it was just a couple of minutes to the Metro and easy walking distance to Via Toledo and to the seaside. It is on a pedestrian street so despite the central location, it was fairly peaceful.
Our room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice of savoury and sweet options as well as fruit, cereal etc. The rooftop terrace was a great addition.
Best of all, the staff were charming - they were all so helpful and accommodating.
If/when we return to Naples, we will defintitely be staying La Ciliegina Lifestyle Hotel!

We have enjoy our stay at the hotel, because of the kind personeel en the spot where the hotel is situated. Very neer to the haven en the (shopping)center with alot of good restaurants and bars. The weather was perfect for a short visit of Pompeii eb Visuvius. The public transport is very well organized in Naples...you can go everywhere and we will be back soon ...... for sure!
