The Weber Ambassador Hotel is a four-star luxury Capri hotel, right on the beach of Marina Piccola, the nicest of Capri Island. No beach in Capri isle and in the world is more fashionable and exclusive than Marina Piccola. This hotel is ideal for those who are looking for a totally relaxing holiday, in perfect harmony with nature and the sea, in a location well away from the bright, noisy and some time problematic Piazzetta, a very crowded place where all discos and night clubs are, and where thousand of young people spend the night in gangs. Although this is only metres away, and can be reached using our free shuttle service, which runs every 5 minutes throughout the day and until 3.00 Am. We won't offer you "3 for 2" or "5 for 3" nights like some Capri hotels do and in which, when you book and stay only one night because the place isn't inhabitable, they make you pay for the whole stay. You can book a room at the Weber Ambassador through our booking system online

Great friendly staff especially the 2 receptionists. We had a problem with our room and they were very accommodating and helped us. The view was unbelievable from the balconies and breakfast area. Super close to the beach . Tip: if possible rent a private boat (our highlight of the trip) and let them pick u up at the beach in front of the hotel

I am so glad we chose to book a couple of nights at this hotel during our week to Italy. There is a bus that will pick you up at the ferry port to bring you over the other side of capri its €6 each. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The breakfast has a very good selection. There is a terrace for sunbathing, an infinity pool. We used the sizeable jacuzzi spa for a dip, as it was mid May and both the pool and sea were too cold to swim. Although the sea looked so inviting we did attempt it. It would be amazing mid summer for snorkeling. Our room was really big, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. It has black out blinds and it was so dark and quite at night. But the best thing was the view from our window. We didn't get a balcony. But the patio doors fully open so you can make the very most of the view. Which I can honestly say, was the best view we've ever had in a hotel. Capri itself is incredibly expensive for drinks. It was alot cheaper to eat and drink in the hotel during the day. Capri is very much aimed at people who like to shop for designer clothes who don't need to worry about the cost. Unfortunately that's not us. There is a free bus which takes you to the centre from 7.30 till 2am. So no need to worry about the location of the hotel in proximity to the centre. To be honest the location is absolutely perfect. We were very impressed with the hotel and would highly recommend it. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Excelent hotel, with the most incredible views!!!! Fantastic, delicious breakfast. Just a few steps from the beach a Lá Sirene beach club. Great and convenient transfer service to the centre of town. They can pic you up upon arribai ar the Port for a 6 euros charge per person. Just be aware: we arrived at the last ferry, at 21, and they dont provide this service at this time. The taxi rate from the Port tô the hotel is 30 euros. Realy difficult tô have answers tô the emails sent tô the front desk.

We love Capri and Marina Piccolo is the perfect place to get away from the hustle of Capri port and shops. The Weber Ambassador was brilliant from the moment we checked in until the second we left our 2 nights were Magical. Our superior room on the second floor with water views and balcony was clean spacious and perfect. Bed was comfortable pillows perfect bathroom has a bath also. Staff very very friendly and all spoke and understood multiple languages well. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant on one night 3 course meal for €29 was good value and food was tasty and adequate without being sensational. The ambience around Marina Piccolo during the day is great with bars and restaurants to experience the water was too cold to swim but laying on the pebbled beach was something different for us Aussies being used to fine yellow sand. The restaurants on the beach close as the afternoon expires so you have to eat at the hotel or get the free hotel shuttle into town, this goes every 15mins or so until 2am. Capri has some great and unique shops it is expensive though so only buy things here that are unique to Capri. The hotel pool area is spacious and clean the main pool was too cold to swim but the large spa was heated and pleasant for a dip. Will be back soon hopefully.

Picked up this hotel off the internet. My first time in Capri, although my 12th time in Italy. What an amazing place. There are very few beaches in Capri, yet, this hotel is situated just up from one. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Spoke English. Since the hotel is situated on the opposite side of the island from the ferry terminal, it is a LONG walk. However, if you’re adventurous enough, there is a cable car system that will take you to the top of the island, and then you can walk down hill through trails with gorgeous views to the hotel. Or, the hotel does have it’s own shuttle, but, you have to call hotel directly to schedule it. Since the hotel is on other side of the island, there are only a couple places to eat. However, the hotel will shuttle you back to top of island to town of Capri to try some restaurants there, but why do that, because the hotel restaurant is fantastic, with fair prices, and incredible views. Many people go for the day to this beautiful island. Don’t do that. Stay a couple nights, at least. Take the island boat tours, walk through the trails amongst the villas. Rent a scooter for a day. You won’t regret it

Loved Hotel Weber Ambassador: great staff, friendly, efficient, warm. Room (deluxe sea view) was fabulous - large, stunning view, massive comfortable bed, great bathroom, good amenities and great shower. Location is stunning, looking over the bay and if you’re lucky enough to be there at a full moon, nothing beats the view of the rising moon over the Faraglioni rocks. Cocktails and drinks great - and reasonably priced. Try the negroni sitting on the terrace listening to the sea. Great little beaches just below the hotel. Warning - to get there, need to walk a little way down the street and 107 steps! If I had known that, I might have been put off, but actually was fun and not that hard. And the water was definitely worth it. Went twice a day! Even great snorkelling, which I don’t expect from the Mediterranean. The pool looked inviting and the whirlpool is large and has a few (secret!) great jets. One of the single best features of the hotel is their free and very regular taxi service up and down to Capri. Takes 10 mins, and rarely had to wait more than 3-5 minutes for one no matter what time of the day or night. Highly recommend, and would happily return. And btw, felt very safe re Covid etc. Staff pretty compliant and vigilant. Teeny tiny observations that would make it even better . . . Softer pillows. Softer lighting in restaurant in evening (bit harsh!). Also, food (restaurant dinner) is just ok - great value for money, but not memorable. Breakfast - termed American buffet - was plentiful, but not great. Tough scrambled eggs and poor quality ham/bacon. However - minor issues which did not interfere with our enjoyment of the hotel.

First let me say I didn't have very high expectations of this hotel but it was really one of the only affordable options so despite the mixed reviews we went ahead and booked. To say, it was a regrettable decision is an understatement. The staff attitude is woeful - the lack of interest and general couldn't care less attitude is everywhere - the reception staff (aside from one very nice gentleman whose name I've mislaid) barely acknowledge you. The breakfast room staff are a disgrace - most wore their masks around their chins even when handling food - this has to be the only hotel still serving a buffet during covid times and the hygiene standards are low to say the least. The food is dreadful anyway. The hotel provides a free shuttle to town which is great - but the drivers are surly, rude and deliberately offhand. One evening, he made us walk around to the opposite side of the van to get in and then pushed us up to the opposite side where the door was already open - it was like a power move to assert his authority. Another time the driver blatantly ignored us and boarded other (local?) passengers even though he saw us waiting.. The rooms are adequate but the maid came in even though we had asked for no room service to try to stay safer. Finally, to ensure you know your place the whole hotel is littered with signs about their add on rules - I've never been in a hotel that charges additional for the egg station but this place has several signs to ask for an additional 5 euros if you want an omlette or a fried egg..you're really made to feel like a naughty school trip rather than a treasured guest. The whole atmosphere is one where you feel unwelcomed and uninvited. We really were so happy to leave and so sad that our holiday was marred by the attitude of the hotel and its staff..

Staff are undertrained and in a hurry all the time, for breakfast coffee was terrible, food was worst. When we arrived a waiter would ask if we want coffee or tea, after taking our order he would then direct us to where we can go make our own coffee/tea.. Pastries tasted like they were sitting out for weeks, coco pops were stale and hard, flys all around the food, Wasps everywhere when trying to eat Recomend eating somewhere else if staying here The room was standard for the price so that was fine. The views were good and shuttle bus to town was good.

Wonderful location with a fantastic view. Hotel rooms were very good. The swimming pool area very nice and the beach was amazing. The hotel staff was very helpful and service minded. The lunch at the pool and dinner in the restaurant were excellent and the prices moderate. Free shuttle bus to Capri centro was perfect.

I made a reservation in September. On booking it was the only option to get a room with partial refund. After two days I saw that I could not reach Italy because I had visited Turkey 14 days ago. I tried to explain them what the situation is in order to make the expectation of the refund policy, but they didn’t want to listen to me and said that this is the policy. An experience that left me with a bitter taste in the context in which during the covid period the situation changes from day to day. When my vacation in America was canceled, the hotels where I had a reservation behaved exemplary and refunded ... I would have really wanted to return to this hotel when I could, but after this experience for sure No! I don't understand why they have a partial refund policy during this period ... it really doesn't seem normal to me to take people's money since the country's politics on the corona virus don't let them, not as if they don't want it.
