This hotel is perfect for a few days or few weeks stay. It’s one of the few hotels on Capri that’s still family owned. The staff is amazing! Very friendly, attentive, helped us to plan our day trips and recommended excellent local restaurants. There is an excellent restaurant right around the corner called Lo Sfizio. We had the best dinner there! We very happy with our stay and would love to come back here again.

We loved our stay in this small hotel. The family are welcoming and helpful, the view was perfect and the location very convenient - just 10 minutes walk from the Piazzetta. We also enjoyed the pool which is small but delightful. Nearby restaurants are also great.

I booked this hotel at the last minute, so ended up only being able to take the basic room. The room is a decent size, slightly dated and the shower is very small. Though that didn’t matter, as the hospitality was fantastic from the start. Each person we spoke to was incredibly accommodating and provided great advice re. Restaurants etc. Villa Sarah has a wonderful swimming pool and jacuzzi, is located 8 mins walk from the Centre of Capri, but it avoids the crowded tourists. Breakfast was great too. And drinks are reasonably priced.

Stayed here for 3 days, friendly and very pleasant staff. I’m surprised that although many reviewers mention the quiet and peaceful location they fail to mention the steep climb up from the centre, definitely not for people who aren’t reasonably fit. Capri is beautiful and we had a great time exploring all the sights, walking and by boat. The hotel has a very nice swimming pool and several areas with chairs and sun beds. The room we had was quite small with a sort of garden view, to be honest it was fairly basic, and the shower was very poor. Breakfast was adequate, cereals, fruit, hard boiled eggs yogurt etc. Hotel Sarah is a good base from which to explore Capri and whoever was on reception was always helpful with recommendations and suggestions.

We enjoyed three nights at this family-run hotel. The property has a lovely pool, and offers a peaceful veranda to enjoy breakfast and lunch. It is located in popular Capri, yet it is not in the thick of the tourist action. Just a short walk from all of the "action" the villa feels like a hideaway. It is loaded with local charm. The staff was friendly and professional. We appreciated the upgrade of our room to include a charming terrace with seating. We would definitely recommend this hotel to those planning a visit to Capri!

I am a solo female traveller and stayed at this hotel over Easter. Now the hotel itself is pretty basic but with a unique rustic Italian charm. However, the reason I am rating this hotel so highly is because of the outstanding service from the staff here. The people at this hotel made my stay here amazing. This is the first time I have travelled alone and as a result I was a little nervous. I was made to feel so welcome and was completely looked after by all the lovely staff. I didn’t want to leave. I want to thank all of you at villa Sarah for being wonderful hosts and making my trip exceptional. Even the cleaning lady had a lovely friendly smile. I felt I was amongst friends. Thank you all.

Hotel Villa Sarah is a family run Hotel. A great place to go to relax amongst a selected few other clients. Great view of the Island, situated not far from the center of Capri but enough that you get the feeling of being pampered by nature and the rustic surroundings. All the comforts of home and the tranquility of modern life. The owners are present and work every day to make sure you are happy. Breakfast poolside and lunch on the terrace are how the Romans used live: now you can too. All the rooms have internet access and have great AC. This is a great place to relax the mind. If you come to work, you have come to the wrong place. Enjoy.

The decor is a little tired and you need to be in reasonable shape to get there. The shower seemed like about 5 thin streams of water in different directions - it needed a new shower head, at least. Staff were very friendly and the gardens nice. The wifi didn't work in my room (but did near reception)

The hotel was clean and nice. The people were nice as well and spoke adequate English for us. The pool was a great place to cool off in at the end of the day. Every morning we had breakfast outside by the pool. The only slight drawback was walking up the hill from the main part of town.

This lovely hotel is about a ten minute walk from the piazzetta in Capri up a steep hill. It is well worth the walk as it is a lovely hotel in a beautiful garden with a small pool. We were made very welcome and our room was comfortable with a balcony and somewhat old fashioned bathroom. The tiled floors are lovely and every thing worked.Breakfast which can be eaten outside by the pool and is varied and good. Nearby is a large supermarket and a cafe. We were given a map and help about things to do on the island. I would go back.
