My husband and I spent a week at La Magnolia. The rooms are all spotless, the ladies cleaned daily, the owner & staff were welcoming, informative, great base for exploring the town and further a field,

Stayed here for 4 nights and this hotel suited us. It was very central, the rooms are large and spotlessly clean. The hotel is quirky and it is not your conventional type of hotel for example the reception is not manned all the time but I certainly never felt disadvantaged. The owner Carlo was always very helpful and I would... More

Stayed at this very central long located small hotel for 2 nights - more a Pensione but good value. Within 100 metres from the main square, train station within easy work. Access to ferry port via local bus from square. Room had balcony to sit for a drink and to have breakfast in the morning. Facilities good. Note TV only... More

First impressions:- My wife travelled with two female friends, prior to arrival they emailed to say they would be late arriving and also enquired about two early breakfasts (after reading a previous review). The late arrival was no problem they were given a number to call and someone came to meet them. However the early breakfast would not be accommodated.... More

This small hotel is out of sight behind a locked gate and quiet. Great location as it is right on the main road into the town square. Easy walking distance to shopping, food, train, bus, sights and marina. It's not fancy and the room small by US standards, but the owners are very nice, it's not expensive and you'll have... More

As per previous views it was a huge bonus to be staying so close to the centre of Sorrento. That is where we wanted to be so ultimately sacrificed comfort for convenience. The bed was super uncomfortable and ultra squeaky as were some in the other rooms!! Towel changing is not every day and it wouldn't be a problem if... More

After I posted a review noting theft from our room, proprieter replied that he told us to report to police and we didn't... NOT TRUE! We did not discover theft til our next stop where we called proprieter who insisted it couldn't be, so we reported to police where we were then. It had to be cleaning staff as our... More

This B&B is a hidden gem. Everything is perfect. It is located at the Sorrento centre. The train station is nearby and numerous restaurants are around. Room is clean, well equipped with very nice street view. The owner Carlo is a key attraction. He is very friendly and helpful. With his arrangement, we were able to join a quality tour... More

Apologies for the pun in the title. Those of you who have stayed at La Magnolia know that Carlos has a camera/intercom at the Green Gate and cameras in the hallway of the hotel. Just after we checked into our room, he called us to make sure everything was OK. My wife was speaking to him and I was locking... More
