We loved Sorrento and staying at this place was part of the reason. It was very peaceful with a good breakfast. The family staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and we appreciated having some cooking facilities, even though they were quite basic. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, though old. The price was... More

We had a lovely stay here but the only thing to criticise , was the fact they had a pool and we couldn't use it for some local law reason . They need to sort out what ever it is . As the rooms don't have a sit out area !! IE! Balcony apart from one room with terrace ,... More

On the busy road between Sorrento and Sanrt Agbello, this bed and breakfast provides good calue but lacks charm. Set in shady but characterless gardens with a pool that cannot be used by guests ( for hygiene reasobns) it is all adequate and good value but is nothing special.. The owner and staff carried out their duties efficiently biut without... More

We stayed here for 2 nights to finish off our trip in Sorrento. We selected this place as it was one of the cheapest b&b at the time and within walking distance to the bus stop to catch the bus back to Naples Airport. The room we had was clean and comfortable. Big balcony and has a clothes dryer which... More

A lovely room with a terrace overlooking the gardens and the pool. The pool is not for guests, only family. Breakfast was great and Mama and the ladies are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of restaurants and bistro's nearby and a short walk to the Laundromat for those who are travelling extensively.

Great room with terrace, good breakfast, courtyard, friendly staff, friendly cats. The pool can not be used only by family but this was not a problem for us. We return here certainly when we will get in Sorrento.

From the minute the big iron gates opened before us we knew we were on to a winner! I had spent weeks looking for the perfect spot for myself and 78 year old mother and am so glad that i chose Villa Alviana Anna! Just a 10 min stroll from the bus/train station and main square the villa is the... More

The garden here is beautiful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a nice breakfast to start the day, and the owner's sister who takes care of you at breakfast is very nice. The bus stop to Capri (a must!) is around the corner at the end of the street. The biggest problem with this villa... More

We stayed there for 4 nights in late September 2014. Luisa and Nina are amazing hosts. Quiet, friendly, unobtrusive, but there when you need them. Staying at Villa Alviani Anna made our visit to Sorrento and Amalfi Coast very special. The room was excellent; very roomy, quiet, and with everything basic that you might need. The gardens and fruit trees... More

We have stayed here before and were remembered. It is a little way from the centre but is an oasis of calm with beautiful grounds and good spotless rooms. Lovely staff too. We love this place. If you are travelling by car there is off road parking.

“Maybe try for a larger room with kitchenette and ask for a room woth a balcony. Most of the good reviews for this property seem to be for these types of rooms, but our experience with the smaller room was not so good.”
