We loved this small, charming, quaint hotel. This is a lovely place to relax and unwind while you enjoy the countryside. I imagine at the right time of year I would love to partake in harvesting lemons to be sent for processing into lemoncello or olives for olive oil. The restaurant has farm to table produce and also chickens for fresh eggs each day. The staff treats their guests as family. Lovely property and warm staff.

In September 2016, nine members of my family stayed here for the most fabulous time. Each day was better than the day before. We were treated like family by the staff and we fell in love with each staff member we met. They are most gracious. My husband's and my room was incredible with a bed with crisp white linens to welcome us for a great sleep...soft bed with gorgeous linens. Our sitting room was well stocked and the view from that room was out over an olive and lemon grove. On the hill was a church that rang the most delightful bells. The private beach was nothing less than spectacular with a staff member there to whip up incredible meals and beverages. We are all planning on returning and bringing other family members with us to take over many rooms and build memories together.

From the moment we walked into our apartment at Regina Giovanna we were beyond impressed. The rooms were stunning and oh so comfortable. We loved walking out of our room to the fresh, vibrant smell of lemons. The private beach was nice and relaxing. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy a beach with less than 10 people on the beach with you. The restaurant on site provided delicious food and the staff was very helpful. We do not speak Italian and the waiter was kind enough to explain everything in the dishes. Regina Giovanna will be our only place to stay whenever we are in Sorrento. It was the perfect place to end our Italian vacation.

If your looking to get away from the city this is a great place to go to relax but still close enough to the fantastic restaurants in Sorrento. The views are amazing of the sea and you can go for a stroll through the olive and lemon field. Rooms are more suited for couples.

Just came back after spending five days here and wow......!! what a REAL hidden gem. Pulling off the main road and you head down a narrow private lane (large enough for the courtesy bus to get down so the previous reviewer obviously couldn't drive the Fiat 500!!) to the hotel and we couldn't believe that this much peace and quiet and space was literally 5 minutes drive from the noise of Sorrento's main street. I love the noise but to be able to come back at night to this was great. The large apartment was unbelievable, massive superking size bed, mini fridge in the bedroom, large living room with comfortable settee and dining area to go with the small but perfectly adequate kitchen area which included hob.microwave. fridge and enough cooking utensils to keep you going although the only things we needed was the kettle and bottle opener. The best thing was the large sun terrace, we spent most nights watching the sun set from the completely unspoilt view with nothing but lemon groves, fig trees and the sea in front. Two air conditioning units in the apartment, one in the bedroom the other in the living area were ace keeping us nice and cool all night and unlike a lot of hotels can not be turned of by the hotel reception to save money. The shower was great and noticed no lack of hot water as previously mentioned. The private beach for the hotel, like the rest of Sorrento's beaches isn't really a beach as such but is definitely private and secluded with no public access to it and supplied with beach towels and beds by the hotel. I really cant praise the place any higher. Yes location is just outside Sorrento but you can use the courtesy bus or walk as we did, an easy 20 minute walk which really is easy and the views you see are just the best. Staff excellent, apartment excellent, parking free, views....WOW
