Very small rooms and bathrooms. Very dated. Hotel info says that each room has a terrace - they don't! There was a bar in the downstairs lounge and a bar on the rooftop terrace - problem there was only one barman!

Good: 1. The restaurant and bar staff were very kind and professional. They were accommodating and gracious in regard to my vegetarian diet restrictions. 2. The dinners, breakfasts, and desserts were delicious! 3. The housekeeping staff were very courteous and overall did a thorough job cleaning and tidying (with an exception or two, more of that below). 3. Convenient location....

The first impressions of the hotel are good despite being on a very busy road. The reception area is bright and modern with comfortable sofas and the staff are helpful and attentive.Unfortunately it appears that the money ran out before any other modernisations were done! The rooms were very small with dated decor and the bathrooms were the same, although I have to...

Not good and after reading the reviews we went with an open mind only to realise we had in fact arrived at Faulty Towers. The room was very small along with the bathroom and very dated in much need of TLC as it was tatty. There was a 3 euro charge for a key to the safe, the view was...

I had 3 night stay and as it was a prompt booking I was unable to get a room with a view however my room was clean and comfortable. I was on 4th floor and near the outdoor sun lounge/spa pool area which was lovely to relax and sunbake. The outdoor bar area was fantastic with spectacular views over the...

Had a lovely fortnight break at the Tirrenia. The hotel is situated very near the shops, restaurants and bars. 10 mins walk into the centre of Sorrento. The rooms were clean, food very good , it was waiter service in the evening. You get to choose your menu at breakfast. Rooftop jaqqusi - lovely views. Evening entertainment once a week-...

Stayed here with a tour group with the Camping & Caravanning club. Well organised hotel with friendly staff. Food was good and the breakfast was particularly nice with a broad choice. Towels are strange by UK standards but we saw the same type for sale in the town so must be an Italian 'style'. Would stay again.

We stayed here on our Honeymoon as part of a guided tour with Travelsphere, Its a very quaint hotel even if little dated, but it has probably been there a lot of years, clean rooms, very very very helpful nice staff, couldn't do enough for you, very polite and funny too, it has a rooftop Jacuzzi which we took full...

I quite enjoyed this hotel which i stayed at for several nights. Sorrento isnt a cheap destination and i found the hotel affordable and good quality. The location is down one end of the main strip but it's not a large town so most places are walkable in 10-15 mins. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, good air...

We arrived early to the hotel and were greeted with a friendly staff full of information about their town. They went above the call of duty to help us with anything we needed. The courtesy they had was very welcomed. The room was clean, well stocked & very well thought out. Plenty of room in the bathroom for all your...
