I stayed in La Badia with my mom in the beginning of september. It was my mom's birthday present and also her first trip to Italy - so I wanted it to be really special and I wanted to take her to really really beautiful place that has that special touch. La Badia had everything that I had dreamed about! The hotel is situated a bit outside of city center. It is very calm and pieceful place. The hotel has amazing views to gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and is surrounded with olive trees. There are many places outside where you can sit, relax, read your favourite book in a shade of olive trees or enjoy your glass of wine with amazing sea views. I mentioned before that it was a biyt outside of city center but this is not a problem at all, the hotel has a "shortcut" to center - it is a nice and easy 10-15 minutes walk, nothing to worry about. My 70-year old mom walked it every day and had no problems at all. Since there were not a lot of visitors (due to covid situation) the hotel wasn't fully booked and we were upgraded to a bigger room - that was really nice. The hotel has a small pool that was a great addition since the weather was really hot and refreshment was well needed. All the decor of the hotel is simply amazing. We loved every second of our visit - all the staff was so nice and friendly and wherever I looked, I felt that everything was so thought through and done that the quest would have an amazing Italian experience. If I ever go back to Amalfi coast (which Im sure I will do) I will definitely visit you again. Thank you so much for making our holiday perfect :)

If you are looking for a stunning location that has beautiful views and gorgeous grounds this is the hotel for you. Our 2nd trip to this gem of a hotel and it was as lovely as we remembered ! It’s on a hill above Sorrento so it feels private yet a night out is easy as long as you don’t mind the short walk up the steep hill. If you prefer to eat at the hotel you will enjoy Italian food cooked beautifully. Staff are unobtrusive but work hard to make sure everything is as it should be - thank you!

La Badia is a hotel on the top of the mountain overlooking Sorrento's marina, Vesuvius and a bit of Ischia. Here you can find yourself surrounded by olive and fruit trees, silence of nature, welcoming owners and staff. We had an excellent stay, Marianna and all the hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, helpful. We felt at home, walking in the garden and also by going to the beach on the narrow, cosy streets. The breakfast was excellent and the service couldn't be better. I cannot drink milk and they had only soy milk, but the other day the owner immediately brought me the almond milk. The food quality was amazing, home made cakes and fresh fruits and tomatos, very delicious mozarella, and many more. We are missing those beautiful mornings when having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, Vesuvius and the nice garden. Also the swimming pool was at our pleasure, elegant and the distance could be kept everywhere. We had two rooms overlooking the sea, with huge terrace and nice climate, we did not even had to use airconditioning. The sunsets from the terrace were amazing! Dinner was organised by hotel with a restaurant overlooking the sea, on the top of the mountain. The restaurant staff came and picked us up at the agreed time, took us to the restaurant and also back in the evening. The food was delicious, I highly recommend Il Borgo! The city of Sorrento is within an easy walk (about 15-20 min.), and it give us pleasure to see all the nice streets and villas during walking. We had no problem with this at all. We traveled with a young man of 17 and had no car. From the very beginning we had many program recommendations from the hotel and we were happy to participate in some of them. The owners also have an agreement with a nice and peaceful cosy beach, so it was a good choice to stay apart from the larger beaches and enjoy the silence of this beach (La Tonnarella). Everything in the hotel was so clean, distancing marked and well kept, masks were worn everywhere withing the closed areas, disinfection was done very accurately, we felt safe and at home. I would highly recommend the hotel La Badia, which is a family owned hotel dating back many years to those who love silence, nature, breathtaking view and such a welcoming owners. Thank you dear Marianna and all the staff for making our holiday unforgettable. Warm hugs from Elizabeth & family

Welcoming and classy. Clean room with terrace & great view. Delightful swimming pool. Polite & helpful staff. Restaurant closed while we were there but a decent stroll (15-20 mins) down to the fabulous fish restaurants was good for us each evening. Good breakfast. Definitely would recommend.
